He would have asked a question if the snakes were not staring at him with a dangerous look in their eyes. Or they were just ugly.

"You can get rid of them, the moment you will not fear them." Ana continued, if only he was fearful of medicine. She would have planted that thought in his mind and waited for a bowl of medicine to appreciate out of thin air.
