Ana wanted to laugh at her fate and his cruelty. The way he looked at her with those eyes filled with love, she only felt small insects crawling over her skin and biting her skin.

The place where his skin touched her was already scalded. Would she survive if he touched her soul?

As they walked towards the garden attaching both palaces, she looked at his face closely. The smile felt genuine, there was no trace of fakery or mockery.

He paused suddenly and let her go. She realized they were already at the entrance of Rowan's palace. 

But to her surprise Isla was standing there. She was talking to Rowan's nanny. Garry was staring at the old woman with narrowed eyes.

Isla and the nanny turned to look at her, when the nanny smiled.
