While Rye was on her way back to the temple, Wunik was having a harder time getting his money back.

"You didn't do the job I paid you! Why should I let you hold the money?" Wunik demanded in a loud tone the second he got back to the thieves base.

"Wunik, you're a long time customer so I'll excuse your emotional outburst but do you really expect us to attack after a royal carriage picked her up?"

"Even if you gave us a week to think about it, we still wouldn't be able to do so, now that she has more connections to the Royal Palace!"

"We also can't give you your money back! We don't do refunds," The man replied, adjusting the cap on his head and the glasses on his face.

He was the accountant in charge of money and accepting missions for that particular thief district and he always abided by the rules.

"All I can offer you is a small discount for whatever job you bring us next," he continued, running his fingers through his beard without care.
