Finally, she reached where King Rezar sat on the throne and Rye was watching intently to see what she would do next.

The last thing she expected to see was for the woman to pull a knife out of her dress and dash forward with a murderous aura around her.

'Is this part of the dance?' Unable to comprehend how someone could be dumb enough to throw their life away in such a way.

But Rye didn't have to watch for long to see the dancer stab the knife forward, surprised that she managed to get to the king without anyone trying to stop her.

Regardless, the knife was still in her hands when she suddenly froze, unable to move a muscle even as the noise in the hall completely died down.
