" So, the priestess is dead then, along with her gods? " Andrew asks as he then picks Arisu by picking her clothes leather.
" Technically, but I never thought it would be that easy, I mean... " Misaki says as she sees Andrew's Divine Decimation Dagger.
" How could you even... "
" You said the Dagger is powerful and will work against her, didn't you back then? " Andrew asks Misaki, he reminds her of what she told him before he murdered all of the Japanese Noble Clan Leaders before he entered the Underground Chamber.
"( I see, Divine Decimation Dagger, huh? )" Misaki says as she recounts what the weapon is for, the weapon is a Divine Weapon, used for execution, a special kind of execution.
It was made into a dagger instead of a Katana since the blade itself was made using a rare Divinium Material, so rare and few that it could only forge into a dagger blade.
This Dagger is used to execute those who were hard to kill. In the past, only the best exorcists who also worked as executioners were permitted to use this in the execution ceremony, in front of the aristocrats and the Noble Clans.
Gifted Humans, Tainted Spirits, Demonic Monsters, Demonic Spirits, this dagger was meant to decimate all of their powers before the blade could cut the body parts off.
" Yes, but I never knew it will work so easily, especially when you using it... "
" It worked! it killed her! " Andrew says as he senses nothing from Arisu.
" Huh! How could you be so sure if the dagger works!? " Misaki asks.
" When it works, then it works, Misaki. "
" No other answers needed. " Andrew answered, he simply concludes it, making Misaki frustrated as she is.
" Grhh... Andrew you...! "Misaki says to Andrew, trying to change the topic as she sees her three daughters coming to her.
" Mother-Sama, I'm glad you're alright! " Makino comes to her, alongside Himeko and Kinako.
" Ohoho... " Andrew laughs as he sees the girls.
" Who are these? Are these the daughters you talked about? "
" Misaki's Angels? "
" Shut up, Andrew! don't flirt with them! " Misaki disses him, saying that he's unworthy.
" Oh not to worry, I'm not going to take on my partner's kids..., let me nephew take them, if he wants to... "
" Your nephew won't take them, he's too young if I recall! "
" My daughters here were born from 2000-2002, whilst your nephew is in 2009! " Misaki says in front of her daughters, dissing Andrew that she won't give her daughters to commoners like him and his family.
Even her three daughters who bowed also had disgusted looks on their faces after hearing this conversation, they didn't want to marry in their earliest youth.
"( Eewww, early marriage, does this 'assassin' think I'm some traditional valueless girl who needs to be engaged before she lost her value, eww! )" Makino, the eldest one, thinks about this topic, even though she's already legal though at the time, she's going to be 20 in 2020 now.
"( Oh please, marrying someone years below me is not my forte, you think I'm an old whore or something? )" Himeko the second daughter thinks about it, feeling disgusted as if she's some leftover girl who could only appeal to younger mates or something.
"( Marry!? Nah!!! )" Kinako straightly rejects this in her thoughts, she is eighteen this year, which means she is in her youth, thus she wants to enjoy her youth more before it has to be over.
While the three girls thought about it, Misaki then orders them to retreat as she doesn't want the girls to continue due to the unknown circumstances in their next phase.
" When will you return, Mother? " Makino asks before leaving.
" You'll know when I return, now go, use your stored 'Teleportation Talismans' and get out of my sight, now! " Misaki ordered them.
" As you wish! " the three Fubukis then left the scene, leaving both Andrew and Misaki who is now in possession of Arisu's body.
As the three were gone, Misaki then continues what she was going to say earlier.
" This result you just did... "
" You already prepared a lot for this, didn't you? " she asks.
" Of course, you think I'm an idiot who would simply charge through in battle? " Andrew responds, reminding Misaki who the hell he is.
" Oh right, you're the 'First Hunter', the so-called Hunters A.K.A., legal mercenaries whose industry is gone viral in the world. " Misaki recalls.
" Well, you got that right, Misaki, I mean... Witch... " Andrew says, trying to return to call Misaki's other identity's name.
" You don't have to do that, now after we see each other's real faces face-to-face. "
" But, aside from all that. "
" Do you also take that 'thing' from the 'Underground Chamber'? " Misaki asks Andrew.
" Yeah, I got it, costs a lot of Spirits to clear the traps, sorry if their numbers are gradually stretched thin afterward, from legions to minions. " If I were you, I would've made them explode themselves to kill the Priestess, one by one, they're all just means to an end, anyways... " Misaki says while Andrew is still silent.
"( Say it what you like, Misaki? )"
"( I still regretted when [Darkstorm Cloud] Spirit die though, it was such a great creature... )" Andrew says, for he was an otherworldly creature admirer despite his job hunting them.
" Well, sometimes these 'brutes' are often amazing though... " Andrew says.
" Even though they were non-beneficial than us, humans... " Andrew states towards Misaki, while suddenly remembering his days with his nephew, sometimes, he used to secretly bring him into the Dungeons to show him the other side world behind the Gates, the world of the unknown, whereas he used to ride some monsters with his nephew in his holidays.
"( Having emotional damage here, are we? )" Misaki says in her mind, knowing Andrew just shows a little bit of emotion during his 'work'.
" By the way, Andrew... "
" Speaking of the 'end'...? " Misaki continues what she's going to say.
" You had your payment? " Andrew asks as he sharply looks at the woman.
" In full! " Misaki says as she told him that she will wire the money after this, but first...
The air current is changing, and the skies went dark, as from afar, from beyond the skies, a huge aircraft is descending towards the Fortress, and it takes it slow.
Seeing this, Andrew then sees Misaki who smirked at him while he still holds' Arisu.
" I see, my cunning friend. "
" Let me wonder about this, were you angry that I had to borrow much of your money to kill this one little priestess? " Andrew asks.
" Well, you know I'm a witch, am I? " Misaki asks.
" Pardon my betrayal, Bounty Hunter, but sadly, despite you still keep my given money full due to your failed bounty contestants... "
" I still need those, for the next phase of my life after I end the deal with you... " Arisu says as from above, the valkyries rain down and land with their weapon along with the gods.
" Put down the Holy Priestess, now! " Valkyrie Commander, Ragridur then orders Andrew whilst the gods' descend alongside Battle Maiden.
As the gods descend, Loki who was with them, sees Andrew's face which gives him a ginormous shock to his heart.
"( That face..., the assassin? It can't be!? )" Loki says as he lands, seeing Andrew face to face after a long time.
"( Andrew! )" Loki shouts in his mind as he looks at Andrew's sharp eyes, which seem to await the god at this very moment.
