Chapitre 20: Chapter 21

When Owen left my room I didn't know how to feel.

Did he just kiss me to get to know whether I liked him? There could have been a different way for him to know. He could have asked me.

Though I doubt that I would have confessed having anything for him. Him kissing me just stirred up certain emotions in me that I didn't know I had towards him.

But when he said what he did, I couldn't help but play cool when my feelings were but.

I didn't want to embarrass myself any more than I already did. I just let him kiss me in front of the whole school.

Feelings of self loathe swirled around me and I decided to go out for a walk, to freshen up my mind and try to get my thoughts straight.

When I walked in the kitchen I found Mrs James baking something.

"Oh there you are." She looked up at me with a smile. "I thought you would want some scones. I just baked them."
