Chapitre 2: Chapter II: Rio
Third Person Pov
Rio appears startled as he looks into Tatiana's eyes, but he quickly covers his expression. Once he has calmed down, Rio then closes his eyes and return a closed eyed smile.
Although he faked a smile, he was still unable to give out a proper respond to the young girl. Tatiana, on the other hand, spotted it and simply sighed in her head since she didn't want to question further.
She stated gently, "Well, don't mention anything if you believe it won't benefit me in any other manner".
"Wow, that's a first for me. Normally people would've pressed for more information, and in the end, almost all of them vanished the moment they learned something about it. Well, some didn't, but you know what I mean right," Rio commented, his eyes glistening with fascination as he stares at Tatiana.
Tatiana raises an eyebrow as she judges the man, and said, "I don't understand what you were referring to and I don't intend on finding out anything about it anymore. I'm also suggesting this: you ought to really not sneak into someone else's backyard you know".
Rio grinned, his canine-like teeth protruding.
"I'm sorry, I was searching for something, and I guess I startled you by you unfortunately have to hear the crashing sounds," he said though he apologize it honestly doesn't sound convincing.In any case, Tatiana remarked, "I would appreciate it if you did that later as we are now attending a funeral, in case you didn't realize, although I do hope you did".
Rio replied, "To answer your question, I sincerely apologize, but yeah, I didn't even notice it. Is it perhaps the old lady? I anticipated she was probably going to pass away soon, but I didn't think it'll be this soon," she said.
Tatiana questions as she stares dead in the eye towards the young man, "Yeah, and by that, what do you mean?"
Oh, whenever she goes shopping in the village, she always appears healthy, and a witch can't realistically pass away young—they live on average for 500 years or more", Rio said, shrugging.
Tatiana questioned, "Are you suggesting that my grandmother is an atrocious wicked being?" while rage flooded through her.
Rio paused and his eyes narrowed at the young girl, whose demeanor had been difficult to discern initially but now she's suddenly acting fiercely. He chuckles and gives a tiny lick his dried chapped lips.
Rio apologized, pretending to give up, as he lifted both of his arms to the opposite side of his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to interpret it in a terrible way, I swear," he said.
Tatiana gives him a look before grumbling.
Rio looks at the girl's face as it slowly becomes a stony expression. The girl looked at him and breathed deeply.
"Alright, I'm sorry. I do hope I don't run into you again. Nevertheless, given that I'll probably leave here after the burial and won't likely see you again", Tatiana spoke as she also quickly walks away.
"Well now don't be like we might end up being pals you know" Rio replies as he jogged towards Tatiana side.
Tatiana quickly retorted, "I highly doubt we really do not like each other's personalities".
"Haha but I like you but hey there was a quote saying the more you hate the more you'll love" Rio made a remark grinning like a feral fox.
Tatiana whispered, "Yes, it'll be impossible for us to get along".
Though she didn't mind the company, she was relieved that someone was being honest with her, unlike the two-faced individuals in the city. Whoever pretends to be so powerful when they are really just a group of fools who will undoubtedly fail if their attitude continued like that for the entire duration of their lives.
Rio stated, "Hey, were you aware that I'm among the most gorgeous guys here?" with a cocky attitude.
An irk mark appeared on Tatiana forehead.
She said, quickening her step, "I don't see it".

Tatiana's mother questioned Rio as the guy is grinning crazy, "Oh dear, are you a new acquaintance of Tatiana's?" while she keeps her eyes on them Tatiana shows a face of disdain te monet her mother said the word 'aquaintance'.
"Ahh we met and I guess we clicked," Rio said as he walked closer Tatiana's mother, who was beaming with excitement.
Tatiana murmurs, "No, we don't".
Nevertheless, after seeing her mother's now-happy expression, she decides against saying that. She was relieved because her mother had been sobbing earlier now she looks really happy.
Tatiana's mother said to Rio, "I'm delighted she's always been aloof child. She doesn't even want me to meet her friends, even though I allowed her make them stay at our house".
""However your daughter is really talkative", Rio laughed.
"I see, I am really happy that she's capable of making new acquaintances in a short time" The mother explained as she then look at her daughter.
Tatiana was forced to stifle a smile, not because she dislikes her mother's gaze instead because Rio seems to have already gained her mother's favor.
Tatiana felt a head on her shoulder and a hand on her waist as Rio and her mother as they continued their conversation.
"Don't look at them Tati, only at me", Theo spoke Tatiana then turn her head to face her brother.
Despite the fact that this kid is already old, to her, he still continues to behave like a toddler.
"Alright, but when will you ever grow up Theo one day I'm probably gonna leave your side soon". Tatiana replies.
Tatiana felt the gripped on her tightens as he felt Theo burried his face more in her sisters neck inhaling her scent.
"No don't wanna" he replied not letting go of her sister like the baby koala he is.
Tatiana then closes her eyes and smile as she pat her younger brothers head. Though however that moment was interrupted by someone.
"Hmmm i didn't think that you'll be able to get close to anyone even your family" someone spoke.
Tatiana looks up as she saw Rio grinning and eyeing both her and her brother. Theo then lift up his head as he glares at Rio.
"Yeah me and my sister is really close" Theo smiled as he hugged Tatiana waist even more tight. And his eyes telling Rio 'back off!'.
Unbeknownst to Tatiana the two were glaring daggers at each other seemingly wants to just rip each others throat. Though both is masked by a creepy smile on there face that Tatiana really find uncomfortable. She close her eyes and feel a mingrane coming in while she stare at the two men.
She then glares at the two silently and she just hopes that this too will stop there creepy staring contest they can do it another time but not in from of her. Though at first the two males didn't notice the cold expression in Tatiana's but slowly they felt the the stillness and how Tatiana doesn't say anything when they look over to her she had a really undescribable grim look.
The two then hurriedly back away form each other. Rio just clicked his tounge in annoyance and turn his heel to leave to probably talk to Tatiana's mother again.
"Tati" Theo spoke and eyes as if seeking for forgiveness.
Tatiana just sighs.
"Theo you need to grow up sooner or later you may find yourself all alone if you kept on staying beside me" Tatiana scolds her brother.
"But i only ne---" before Theo could speak.
"That's not a valid reason grow up Theo you can't be a child forever" Tatiana said she then stand up as she felt her throat dry.
As Tatiana left she failed to notice the grim look on Theo's eyes. And how he silently mutters.
"Yeah but don't treat me like your younger brother aswell"

Tatiana just finish drinking water and now she is once again being pestered by a wild green eyed boy.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" She asks.
"Well i'm doing something better now and that is watching you" Rio gave Tatiana a mischievous grin.
"We litterally just met today don't you understand the word boundaries?" Tatiana said annoyed tat the guy.
"Yeah that isn't in my dictionary unfortunately" Rio replied holding his chin while posing.
"You absolutely disgust me" Tatiana said in an disgusted voice as she stares on how Rio is posing like a damn narcissist.
"I know that's why your fun to be with" Rio spoke confidently.
"I bet that half of the people here find you annoying" Tatiana glares at him.
"That is true but at the same time not aswell maybe half of the people here hates me but more than half of them aswell actually admires me" Rio said confidently.
"I don't even know where you get that confidence" Tatiana said as she gave up on understanding the green eyed man.
"My parents of course well whne they were alive" Rio lightly reply.
"Ohh sorry for your loss" Tatiana felt some remorse as she eyed the green eyed man.
"Well i don't really care they aren't good people to begin with so don't apologize" Rio said smiling eyes close.
Tatiana however felt that there was a lingering sadness in Rio's voice despite it being mask by his cherry tone. But she's not in a position to ask something that is personal afterall they just met for a day scratch that they just met for like a few hours.
"Understood" Tatiana just spoke as she went and grab some crackers.
"Hey aren't you gonna ask why i call them bad people?" Rio asks.
"I'd rather not know I dont want to know your secret if that is one. As far as im concern if you told me something about that i feel like you'll be sticking with me for the rest of me being in this place" Tatiana said calmly.
"Hahaha you really are so heartless but at the same Time smart" Rio laughs.
"Well i'm glad that you find that cruel truth funny anyways its really getting dark im pretty sure your guardian is probably worried about you already you should really go home". Tatiana said as she bit into the cracker that she got from the cabinets.
"Haha are you worried about me?" Rio asks.
Tatiana sighs as she really need a break from these noisy guy. At first his like the damn grim reaper but now his atitude is worse that of an infant.
"Yes probably because if something happens to you my family might become the suspect" Tatiana said annoyed.
"Cruel, though don't worry I'm really strong" Rio spoke full of confidence.
Tatiana raises an eyebrow and shrugged.
"Yah famous line before a tragedy" Tatiana replied.
"Well im telling the truth" Rio just spoke.
Tatiana just nods as she suddenly heard bunch of sound in the living room. Seems like all the family memebers are here and the lawyer is probably gonna start telling the will of her late grandmother.
"Hmmm they just become noisy" Rio spoke also looking at the door towards the living room.
"Well probably because what they've been waiting for has finally arrived" The girl said as she eyes the living room door boredly.
"Lemme guess the will?" Rio asks.
"Yep" Tatiana shortly reply as she walks towards the living room.
