Chapitre 95: The Shichibukai Meeting Was Actually Caught By My Grandson~ (5/5)

Naval Headquarters, Marineford.

It had been several days since Finn left Naval Headquarters, and the repercussions of his actions were still felt. Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral, had reluctantly accepted that Finn was the culprit behind the mysterious incident with his prized lamb. Though Kizaru and Aokiji had explained it thoroughly, Sengoku couldn't shake the frustration. Every time he saw those two, his mind went straight back to his tragically lost lamb. He was constantly tempted to discipline them for their carelessness.

But the lamb incident wasn't the only thing bothering Sengoku. The confirmation of a powerful swordsman—known as the Sword Fairy—had stirred a deep unease in him. First, there had been rumors of a swordsman who had supposedly bested Hawkeye, Mihawk, and now, this mysterious Sword Fairy. The situation in the world of pirates was becoming more unstable.

As soon as Finn left, Sengoku had summoned the Seven Warlords of the Sea (Shichibukai) for an urgent meeting. Today, six of them were present: Mihawk, Bartholomew Kuma, Boa Hancock, Gecko Moria, Donquixote Doflamingo, and Jinbei. The seventh, Crocodile, was still imprisoned in Impel Down.

Jinbei, notably, wasn't his usual calm self. He seemed troubled, waiting for an opportunity to speak to Sengoku about something critical.

In the grand meeting hall, the tension between the warlords was palpable.

"Fufurfur, I didn't expect someone like you to attend the Shichibukai meeting," Doflamingo remarked with a mischievous grin, looking at Mihawk.

"I'm here because of the Sword Fairy," Mihawk replied coolly. "I've come to learn more."

Moria was busy devouring a large piece of meat, laughing, "You're here for the gossip, eh? And you, Kuma, stop pretending to read that book!"

Boa Hancock, as usual, remained aloof, gazing into a hand mirror, and Jinbei was clearly distracted by the weight of the issue on his mind.

At that moment, Sengoku entered the room, accompanied by Garp and Vice Admiral Tsuru. The atmosphere instantly changed as the Marine leaders took their seats.

"Doflamingo, stop messing around," Tsuru scolded, seeing him using his Parasite String to control a Marine Vice Admiral into picking his nose.

Doflamingo released the Vice Admiral, who shot up in anger but sat back down at Sengoku's cold glare. The meeting began.

Sengoku, always focused on business, immediately turned to Jinbei. "Jinbei, I heard you have something to ask me?"

Jinbei, visibly angry, slammed his hand on the table. "Sengoku! Is the Shichibukai agreement still valid or not?"

The room fell silent, eyes turning toward Jinbei in curiosity.

"The agreement is always valid. What's this about?" Sengoku asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Then why has Marine personnel been causing chaos on Fish-Man Island?" Jinbei demanded, his voice full of frustration.

"Marine?" Tsuru interjected calmly. "Jinbei, I think you've been misinformed. We haven't sent anyone to Fish-Man Island recently."

Jinbei's anger flared again. "No? Then explain why your Marine Finn, or as he calls himself, 'Monkey Luo Gang,' came to Fish-Man Island, wreaking havoc?"

Sengoku's heart sank as soon as he heard Finn's name. He had hoped the boy was headed for East Blue, but now it seemed he'd gone to Fish-Man Island instead. The situation was worse than expected.

The room turned to Garp, waiting for his reaction. After all, everyone knew that anyone with the last name "Monkey" had to be related to Garp.

Garp coughed awkwardly. "Ahem... That's my grandson, alright."

Sengoku's face tightened in disbelief. "Your grandson went to Fish-Man Island? What in the world did he do there?"

Jinbei, seething, stood up. "Not only did he cause chaos, but he punched our mermaid princess Shirahoshi!"

The entire room erupted in disbelief.

"He did what?" Sengoku gasped. "Shirahoshi is just a young girl, isn't she?"

Jinbei continued, his voice shaking with frustration. "He punched her, and she cried! He had the audacity to ask how long she could cry after just one punch!"

Doflamingo burst out laughing, "Fufurfur... This Finn kid seems to have Garp's unique style."

Moria joined in, "Beating up girls? That's low, even for pirates."

"Men are all trash," Hancock muttered under her breath, visibly displeased.

Vice Admiral Momousagi, irritated by the accusations, chimed in. "Jinbei, don't you think you're exaggerating? You're a Shichibukai yourself. How could you not stop a single Marine from causing so much damage?"

Jinbei's face flushed. "I tried, but... I couldn't beat him."

The room fell silent again.

"What?" Sengoku nearly choked. "Jinbei, you're a warlord, and you're telling me you couldn't defeat Finn?"

Garp, now looking thoroughly embarrassed, scratched his head. "Well... It seems my grandson's gotten a bit stronger than we thought."

Sengoku and the others exchanged uneasy glances. Garp's words hung heavily in the air.

"And, uh..." Garp hesitated before continuing, "Remember how Crocodile was captured?"

Sengoku blinked. "Yes, you caught him."

"Ahem... Actually, Finn did that. I just... escorted him to Impel Down."

There was a collective gasp in the room.

A mere teenager, Finn, had managed to capture a Shichibukai? The implications were staggering.

As the reality sank in, Sengoku muttered under his breath, "This boy... What kind of monster is he becoming?"
