"But now, with Minato's protection, Naruto should be completely safe," he added. "The Akatsuki members are always thinking of ways. For instance, it's said that Kinkaku and Ginkaku of the Hidden Cloud possess the Nine-Tails' chakra. If they make a deal with Orochimaru, they can obtain it through Edo Tensei."

Before, he thought he'd have to help Kaito fight other enemies besides Konoha, a decision he made with great resolve for Naruto's sake. But now, knowing it's about saving the world, he felt excited.
Then, Kaito brought out a paper doll made of the same material as those used by Izuna and Miss Chiri. Of course, it didn't include Sharingan as a material.
With the new paper doll and the addition of a seal that allowed him to use Sage Mode, Minato had largely regained his former strength.
"Minato, I have even better materials I haven't had time to research. Once they're ready, I'll replace them for you," Kaito said finally. "From what I know, Naruto and Jiraiya-sensei should be training at Mount Myoboku now. You should be able to go there directly."
"Thank you, Kaito-kun," Minato nodded. "I did leave a Flying Thunder God mark at Mount Myoboku, so I'll head there. When you need me, I'll help with all my strength."

Minato formed hand seals, and as soon as he finished speaking, he disappeared from Kaito's sight.
Seeing Minato leave using the Flying Thunder God technique, Kaito smiled, then turned to look in another direction, the Mangekyo Sharingan in his eyes spinning.
The seemingly empty ground in the distance tore open like a false curtain, revealing Obito and Tobi.
Kaito walked up to them and looked down at the two, bound by golden chains.
"Obito, if I had revealed just now that you were the mastermind behind the Nine-Tails attack and handed you over to Minato, what do you think he would have done?"
Obito gave him a cold glance and remained silent.
Tobi squirmed and shouted, "Ah, the Fourth Hokage would probably kill Obito! He'd definitely kill him!"
"I don't think so," Kaito smiled. "Minato would likely try to save his fallen student."
"That's why I didn't let him know about you, Obito," Kaito said, unsheathing his blade. "You heard my conversation with Minato. Neither I nor Black Zetsu were anything more than users of you. Your dream of Infinite Tsukuyomi is just a fleeting illusion."
"…You're lying!" Obito suddenly roared with a hoarse voice. "Don't try to deceive me! My dream is right! A world with Rin is the real one!"
"Pathetic!" Kaito's blade pierced Obito's heart. "You're nothing but a coward escaping from reality!"
"Gah…" Obito coughed violently, choking on the blood rising in his throat.
Kaito looked at him coldly. "Without the ability to use chakra, you can't fully use the Wood Release cells to heal yourself."
He pulled the blade out. "Go to the Pure Land and find Rin."
"Rin… I'm sorry…" Obito murmured as his eyes lost their light.
Kaito then turned his gaze to Tobi.
"Hehe, am I going to die too?" Tobi laughed happily. "Great, I'm looking forward to experiencing death. How will you kill me? Strangle me? Or cut me into eight pieces? Ah, I want to experience all of them!"

Kaito didn't reply, instead carefully sensing his condition. As a result of experiencing Infinite Tsukuyomi, this creature had been assimilated by the God Tree.
His body was more plant than human, even capable of wrapping around a human body like clothing and sharing chakra with the person wrapped.
"You're an invaluable material," Kaito said, looking at him with a bit of excitement.
"Hey! What are you going to do?" Tobi asked, still curious and unafraid. "Tell me quickly!"
Kaito's Mangekyo Sharingan spun rapidly, and a powerful mental force infused with the Ryūmyaku's power surged into Tobi's consciousness.

At this moment, his consciousness had completely shattered.
Kaito then retracted the Ryūmyaku Chains from both of them.
Tobi's body had lost its human shape, unfolding like a plant, even his head splitting open into several parts.
Kaito took out a brush and quickly drew complex runes over Tobi's body, which had spread out like leaves.
When the runes covered Tobi's entire body, Kaito put away the brush and stood up.
He formed hand seals rapidly, and his gaze fixed on Tobi's head, imprinting a pentagram there.

As Kaito completed the seals, Obito's corpse stood up, his mask falling off, and Tobi's body wrapping around him.
Blood continuously flowed from Obito's body, staining Tobi's body red.
A blood-red light shone faintly, and Tobi's body shrank like flowing water, finally merging into Obito's brain.
A few seconds later, the new "Obito" opened his eyes and bowed to Kaito.
"Master."
"Good," Kaito smiled with satisfaction. "Continue with Obito's original plans. I'll contact you if needed. This body should last a long time due to its special material."
"Yes, Master."
Kaito took out a small colorful paper doll and placed it on himself, immediately appearing severely injured.
"Let's go!"
At the border of Uzushio Village, the sound of a wooden whistle echoed, and Gurē descended from the sky.
Kaito, covered in blood and clutching his chest, stumbled out and collapsed onto Gurē's back.
He smiled secretly, silently dispelling the illusionary formation covering the entire village.
Gray spread its wings and soared through the clouds in an instant.
Elsewhere, the bloodied "Obito" walked into a dense forest outside the village and said in a hoarse voice, "Mission failed. Tobi is dead."
