86.6% I AM TOAA's GRANDSON (PHELIO) / Chapter 291: Chapter 294 Friendzone [Edited]

Chapitre 291: Chapter 294 Friendzone [Edited]

The holy grail war officially began. Kirei was still the overseer of the war, overseeing the proceedings with his usual stoic demeanor.

He didn't do anything after he investigated how he lost his memory, which had been erased by someone very powerful.

And he got information about who might be the one who erased his memory. It was a shocking revelation, as the culprit turned out to be someone he least expected.

He didn't make any moves because he had another piece of information.

Matou Zoken had been killed by Tohsaka Rin, and the power she used wasn't hers. It came from someone else. He deduced that it came from the same person who beat him.

'I need to focus on Tohsaka Rin. In this war, she is my greatest threat.'

Kirei decided to wait and see how Tohsaka Rin's actions unfolded before taking any further action. He knew that confronting her directly would be risky.

As he pondered his next move. Someone walked behind him and spoke in an arrogant tone.

"Humph, I see you're still playing the waiting game. But remember, patience can only get you so far in this war."

Kirei turned around to face the person who had interrupted his thoughts—it was Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes.

Gilgamesh smirked, He wasn't in his golden armor but in casual attire, yet his presence exuded an air of superiority.

"I can't move carelessly as there is a variable that I must consider."

Kirei replied calmly.

"Patience may not be the only strategy, but it is one that allows me to analyze the situation and make a calculated decision."

"Variable? I see. What is this variable that you speak of?"

Gilgamesh asked, his smirk widening.

"I hope it's something interesting enough to make this war more entertaining."

Kirei didn't respond immediately, instead taking a moment to gather his thoughts. He knew that revealing too much to Gilgamesh could potentially backfire, but he also understood that if he wanted to win this war, He needed Gilgamesh.

After a brief pause, he finally spoke.

"This variable is someone who possesses immense power and has the potential to change the course of this war. His presence has added a new layer of complexity to our already intricate game."

Gilgamesh heard that and raised an eyebrow.

"Interesting."

He remarked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"Tell me more about this variable and how it affects the chances of victory."

Kirei sighed, realizing that he had ignited Gilgamesh's interest. He carefully chose his words, knowing that the information he revealed could either be beneficial or detrimental to his cause.

...

Sullivan had his fill of the daily dose of chotic entertainment provided by Lorelai, the master of the clock tower. Unfortunately. He didn't find Zelretch anywhere.

He knew that he was being pranked. But for what purpose? Was it just for amusement as usual, or was it because he wanted to tell Lorelai that he wasn't a bad god and there was no need to fear him that much?

Sullivan shook his head. He had gone home after giving Lorelai a headache with his antics.

When he went home, it was already dark, and he could feel many powerful servants fighting each other. The sounds of clashing swords and explosive magic filled the air.

"So the war has begun. Well, it isn't my problem, and I already gave Rin many powerful jewels. Even facing Gilgamesh. It shouldn't be a problem."

He gave Rin not only powerful jewels but also his divine protection and a phonex down. These additional resources would surely give Rin an advantage in the battle against Gilgamesh.

When he came home. He saw something unusual. Ai and the girls were in their room watching anime and doing their homework while Shirou and Saber were waiting for him. He tried to find his servants, but he couldn't feel where they were.

"Hum? Where are my servants?"

Sullivan asked Shirou and Saber.

"They told me that they want to go and watch the war. They move through the shadow realm, so they would not be detected by anyone"

Shirou replied as he looked at Saber.

Saber's face was now filled with concern. She was thinking about something. Sullivan, who had the power to feel the inner desires of others, sensed Saber's unease toward him and asked

"Is something bothering you, Authoria? Did Morgan say something or do something to you?"

Saber was shocked. How could he know her true name?

"Eh. Sorry, I didn't mean to reveal that."

"It's alright. It doesn't mean anything when I don't have to participate in the Holy Grail War anymore."

"That's good, and what about Morgan?"

Saber hesitated for a moment, but it wasn't her who answered him. It was Shirou.

"Morgan said to me that you can help Saber after the war ends. Please help her cut off the connection to the throne of heroes! I knew that you might be targeted by someone or something that was very powerful, but she also told me that you could also solve that problem easily!"

Saber's eyes widened in shock. She didn't hear anything about that from Morgan. She only told her that if she wanted her master to be safe. She needed to beg Sullivan.

Sullivan when he heard everything from Shirou. He shook his head, knowing what Morgan wanted.

She wanted him to take Authoria as his servant. But what he didn't know was What for? Sullivan couldn't understand why Morgan would want him to take Authoria as his servant. He pondered over the possible reasons, wondering if there was a hidden agenda behind it all.

"Shirou, I-"

"Stop it, Saber. I've already made up my mind. I don't want to participate in the war, and I don't want you to go back to that place. You are my friend, Saber!"

'Eh, Authoria got friendzone. This is unexpected.'

Sullivan didn't know how to feel about what had happened before. He knew that this was Morgan's doing. She hated Pendragon, but why did she want her to be his servant? If she became his servant, Morgan could say good-bye to any revenge she might have, as he wouldn't let her do anything she pleased with Saber.
