Chapitre 22: Yomi
Year 14
Since I decided that I will enter school directly at high school, my clan decided to give me more jobs in the past months. A total of 1 job, 1 job per 2 months. Out of 4 jobs, 3 jobs are bodyguard type jobs, and I did all of them with my cousin since the employer requested it. The last job is an assassination type job. Well, I probably will have more missions from the clan if I didn't need to do my cover.
I still felt unpleasant from killing others, but I did not react as intense as my first time. Despite that, my clan decided that I will not take any more jobs for a while, so I can adjust my mentality and not fall into the darkness. And since I have important things to do.
I don't mind that, since I want to stabilise my fighting style. I've succeeded in fully combining the tempest style and kushinada style, and it was combat-ready. So I used the job to have a test run in real-life combat.
I didn't use it at the assassination jobs, since I need to finish the job and I don't want to risk it. I tried it at the bodyguard jobs. Bodyguard jobs are called that because there is a chance that the enemies of the employer will attack, and most of the time, they did attack the employer. And since I did the job with my cousin, it's a perfect chance for me to have a test run. My cousin will protect the employer, while I'm fighting the enemies.
The result is spectacular if I had to myself. Why? Well since I found many flaws in the style. So, since I got a vacation from the jobs, I can further perfect the styles.
One thing for sure is I'm getting rid of the need to use weapons in the tempest style since if the enemies are capable to get too close to me, I can use the kushinada technique part in my style now. Rather, the weapon became a hindrance to me now.
I'm a bit sad to get rid of my knives now since I've grown up with them, but since they are not useful, I need to get rid of them. Besides, if I need to use a ranged attack, I can use rankyaku now. I am good at using knives, but my skill is not good enough to be called a master at them.
More than that, I've been learning how to use my ki to enhance my attack and defence for 1 and a half years now, so my control is very good. Surprisingly, my ki is a dou ki. At first, I thought that I will have the sei ki since I'm lazy. But mah, no matter, ki is ki. It doesn't matter what type of ki I have, they just have different styles of applicants.
Besides perfecting my fighting style, I have something else that I need to do.
Since I'm already good at using my ki, learned all of the tempest style and Kushinda Style techniques, and develop my style based on them (though still full of flaws) I'm already declared as an expert class martial artist by my clan and mother.
But they didn't let me use my full prowess when I'm fighting enemies, especially if I'm fighting near Yomi, the disciples of Yami. Yes, people, I'm part of Yomi. Though I didn't actively follow their missions, and only sometimes join them in training. I and chikage are part of them.
Why am I Yomi you asked? Well, its rule decided by the masses that every master had to have at least one official disciple. And since I have been spotted travelling with mom, mom did not have the choices to assign me as her official disciple. Though, I am her main disciple.
Anyway, whenever I'm with the Yomi, I only use the kushinada style.
The members of yomi are not different from the originals, that I am the official disciple of kushinada.
At first, I am warry of them, but as I spend time with them, I realize something. Except for some, despite their belief that they are followers of the killing fist, they are just bratty kids that will do anything they wanted. In other words, Spoiled brats without restraint have real skills.
Funny thing is, my relationship with Boris Ivanov is the best compared to the other. We both have different natures where he is a strict person, I am a lazy person. But, we have a common point. I and I tend to prefer perfect accomplishment in the job.
At first, when Yami gave us a mission together, I and he have a conflict about how to achieve perfection at our assigned mission, but eventually, we find the middle ground to finish the job.
Since then, I and Borris start to forge our unbreakable Brotherhood!! Well, there are also other reasons why I became friends with him.
