Suizi was startled and looked up, facing a pair of cold-blooded eyes.
A man emerged from the driver's seat, with a pronounced brow ridge and eyes, protruding lips, and a slightly asymmetrical face.
Suizi was certain that this was the first time she had seen this man. However, he emanated a fearfully familiar feeling, as if something within her were being awakened.
Without thinking, her first reaction was to sharply reprimand him.
"What do you think you're doing!"
The man stared intently at Suizi, licking his lips, and spoke hoarsely:
"I'm here to ask for directions."
"Step away," Suizi, now panicked, glanced across the street at Yu Jingting.
Separated by two lanes, he was across the street buying porridge, his back turned and unable to see what was happening.
If she called out now and he heard her, it might not be in time for him to rush over.
"You're quite a looker." The man extended his hand, reaching for Suizi's chest.
