"Haaa... isn't life wonderful?"

As I sat atop my newly constructed tower, I watched the world from a glorified vantage point.

The blue sky, the lukewarm sun, and the white clouds that drifted slowly.

Everything was so peaceful up here.

So beautiful.

The vast lands that spread across hundreds of miles—even the mountains that peaked at the clouds. I could see them all from my heightened position.

"Project Overwatch is a success." I smiled, tapping the extremely sturdy tower floor.

I was currently over a hundred feet from the ground—standing on the flat roof of the watchtower I designed.

Designed for observation in all directions, I made sure it was tall enough for its purpose.

"Now we can detect enemy attacks from a far range and a much higher angle compared to before." I nodded with a smile.

While I was currently on the roof, the true guard post would be situated within the tower itself.
