Chapitre 10: Chapter 10: Meeting
Kastro was very disappointed by his defeat and the words Baise said kept ringing in his ears
" You're missing a lot of theory and you are exactly in the same place i was a couple of months ago".
He decided to meet up with Baise and ask her what she meant by those words. The next day he made an appointment with her and asked her to explain what she meant by. Baise got up and told Kastro " Follow me and i will arrange a meeting with someone who will explain and clear all your doubts ".
Taking a car out of Heaven's arena towards an uncrowded inhabited place Baise brought Kastro towards the prearranged meeting place for all three of us. Kastro and Baise walked through small ruins of buildings where few stray animals where loitering around. After walking for a minute Baise stopped and looked up and I was sitting there reading a novel in my hand.
" I brought him as you requested"
I replied " Well done and Welcome Mr Kastro".
He asked me " Who i was and what do you mean welcome? Aren't you John the masked fighter at heavens arena?"
I looked at Kastro and said " Before that i believe you have passed the hunter exam and have come across nen and also i am sure you have come across only the basic and not the advanced nen techniques. Another flaw about your method of practicing nen is that you are focusing too much on your nen ability rather than the basic & advanced nen techniques. These basic and advanced techniques are very important as they are the rock or the foundation of good & strong nen abilities while going ahead in your nen journey. Hence i advise you to reassess your training methods".
Kastro was silent for sometime and looked at me and Baise as he was trying to conclude what was our motives behind this could be. After few minutes of silence i opened the novel and continue to read.
" Baise used In and hid her nen thread when you were throwing punches at each other in the fight yesterday and likewise you made the same mistake today as well. Whenever you are going to meet a nen user of unknown background, you must be prepared at all time for a fight and seek out if there are traps or manipulation."
As i kept reading the novel, i remembered how Kastro was defeated by Hisoka and wanted to train him so as to help him avoid the fate this time. This was also a reminder to both of them of how dangerous the world is and nen is. Then Baise started to entangle tightly the nen threads around Kastro to make him realize he had fallen for the same trick twice. He felt humiliated, frustrated and angry for being weak. He realized then and there the saying of how being weak is a sin.
After removing the nen threads around Kastro, he fell on his knees and asked me to train him so that he could be a strong nen user. I told him hard work, patience and back to basic is the key for now to become stronger. I looked up to Baise and asked her to kickstart his basic nen and advanced nen techniques.
Kastro's training started with going around basic and advanced nen techniques. Most of the time meditating and practicing the basic four nen techniques. After a period of time the advanced techniques that Kastro never learned was also taught to him such as Gyo, In, En , Shu , Ko, Ken and Ryu. I must also help him with acquiring good nen abilities within their nen mastery.
