It took the group most of the night to get rid of the cops and hunters, and whoever fricken else had been chasing them. Then when the helicopters no longer followed them, Damon had to keep pushing his men and Esme forwards. Kane remained on his back the whole time, making the Alpha tired from the added weight, but it didn't matter. His Beta had been on the brink of death, and his mate was with the pack at home. Damon growled his anger at almost failing Kane and that he had to keep pushing everyone.
