Countless voices screamed out. All of these voices were filled with lust and ridicule as they no longer held any shame.
A girl in the middle of the arena was being held down by another man who had fear in his eyes.
"Ahhhh... music to my ears..." Mia was on the verge of crying at such a shameful scene, despair was obviously written on her face. 'Arthur' kept on raising up his hands signifying the audience to get louder.
The entire place was at 'Arthur's' grasp, he slowly walked to the center where Mia was. With a swift motion that no one in the entire place could see, 'Arthur' held his sword and sliced Mia's clothes. It was so masterfully done that all her private parts were barely covered.
An ear piercing shriek drowned out all the other voices as 'Arthur' chuckled. She was crying as her figure was for all to see, no one could do anything at this scene. It wasn't that they couldn't rather they didn't.
"I-I did everything you told me to so--" The supposed guard that was holding Mia down weakly stated. The bloodlust that he felt from 'Arthur' made him feel fear, more than what he felt in his entire lifetime.
"Yeah, you can go and you can take this disgrace with you." He concealed his bloodlust so that they would be able to move.
"Thank you! I will be on my way." Relief enveloped his body as he wasted no time to take Mia out of the arena.
"But, before you can go..."
'Arthur' took out a scroll, this was the scroll for the "Whispering Wisp Swordsmanship." He glanced at the contents and placed it back in his bag. He then appeared in front of the young man carrying Mia.
"Catch."
He then threw his sword towards the man. He caught the sword and realized something, he was about to fight for his life.
"Hit me once then you can leave. Easy, right? I won't use my bloodlust and a sword."
Without any hesitation, the man struck 'Arthur' as fast as he could but the latter was just there smiling.
As soon as the sword pierced 'Arthur's' body, he didn't feel any resistance at all. A wound then appeared on his body which resembles a sword strike.
"Huh? How did I get injured?" Confusion started to set in as he didn't understand how he was injured by a sword when his opponent didn't even have a sword.
'Arthur' appeared beside Mia then stepped on her legs, breaking them. She then screamed out for help from the audience begging them to save her. The man already gave up on her and was only trying to save himself at this point.
"There we go! You won't be running away here." A dark expression then appeared on his face, the same look a noble would look a homeless man. "If you try to escape then I'll break every single bone in your feeble body then throw your body out to be ravaged by beasts."
Mia could only cry in silence as she nodded.
The man ignored Mia's pleas for and continued to strike 'Arthur' but the latter just kept on dodging and dealing more damage as if he had a sword.
This simple matchup didn't look like a fight rather it was a one-sided match. With each strike, 'Arthur's' attacks kept on getting deeper and longer as they increased in strength.
The man couldn't believe what was happening anymore and drastically shouted out his thoughts, "Just how are you so damn strong?! I am a Sage Ranker yet you are playing with me! Answer me!"
At this point, his body was seeping out blood, one could barely recognize him anymore with all the blood and wounds on him.
"Sage Ranker? Pfft, that's why you are so weak! I played around a Great Sage Ranker earlier and he could barely survive my attacks. What a disappointment!"
Everyone in the entire vicinity could not believe their ears. As far as they knew, their king was the strongest because he was already a King Ranker but a Sage Ranker in front of them was being toyed with someone who might have already reached Wisp Rank.
"Alright, I guess this is as far as you can go. I already had my fun."
'Arthur' didn't move in the eyes of the audience but a head dropped in the arena. The man who was covered in blood and wounds was beheaded and no one saw how it happened.
"It's your turn now, right? Mia Amir. It's time for you to die. If you have anyone to blame, blame yourself for being so arrogant!"
Mia already gave up on the face of power as she silently cried, her figure was for all to see. Her legs were battered and she couldn't get up anymore, she was at 'Arthur's' mercy.
Right before his hand sliced her neck open he had a thought, "If I take her in as a slave then wouldn't that be fun? I would have her all by myself then I'll make her kill her own family, that would be the best revenge, wouldn't it?"
Thinking of this sadistic idea, he then threw Mia out the ring with quite a force resulting her in an even worse state. It was so bad to the point that one would have to question if she was even alive. Blood was oozing out her mouth as she quietly wept. No one dared to touch her or aid her for fear that they will be killed by a man that could toy with a Sage Ranker.
"Everyone! Tell her guild that I, 'Arthur Reeve,' will be that thing's master."
After taking the winnings, he went to where Mia was and took her battered legs and lifted it which resulted in her screaming in agony. He then put her entire body at his shoulder then left. Her body looked like a corpse with all those bruises and injuries but her sorrowful cries made others think otherwise.
On the way to Rob's store, 'Arthur' got irritated and threw her down on the ground with a lot of force. She was at death's door right now.
"Shut the hell up! Or do you want me to ruin you even more?"
Her breathing was rasp and inconsistent as she tried to lower her voice even more.
With an irritated look, he then used something he learned quite a while back.
"Heal"
While Arthur was learning about techniques, he learned this spell but he wasn't able to use it due to his mana being insufficient to cast it. But, this was 'Arthur' who was using it, he had an even deeper understanding of such concepts so he used a weaker "Heal." Although it couldn't fully heal her, it could at least alleviate some of the pain.
With the majority of the pain was gone, she felt at ease and drifted to sleep.
"At least, she shut up. What an annoying brat!"
He shortly arrived at Rob's store, he was surprised to see Joseph guarding the front entrance.
"Sir Joseph! Good evening!"
Joseph glanced at the voice who said that and he was somewhat delighted to see Arthur. His gaze then looked behind him and he saw Mia Amir covered in blood and was barely breathing.
"What happened?"
'Arthur' made up a story where she was ambushed due to her reputation and he saved her while her guard distracted them. Of course, Joseph didn't know that 'Arthur' was already stronger than him already.
Accepting his made-up story, he let 'Arthur' in.
'Arthur' immediately went to Rob and talked to him regarding on how to enslave someone. Luckily, his research is based on reverse engineering the enslavement seals. Rob gave 'Arthur' a seal and how to imprint it onto someone.
'Arthur' immediately asked if this was applicable to animals of strengths stronger than himself. At this question, Rob's worries were instantly gone as he thought that 'Arthur' was going to enslave a beast to defend himself for the upcoming war.
'Arthur' then took Mia to a room then bound her mouth and limbs then went to sleep.
Tomorrow morning, 'Arthur' woke up light-headed, he knew what was about to happen so without wasting any time he bounded Mia to him then ordered her to tell Arthur the entire made-up story and then to stay quiet about everything else.
"On second thought, don't tell him this but you need to know..." Mia trembled as she nodded then obediently knelt in front of him.
A few moments after telling her everything, 'Arthur' went back to bed then immediately a few moments later woke up with a dumb look on his face.
"What's going on?" He was previously fighting an old man then the next moment he woke up in a familiar bed. "Why am I in Rob's place?"
He gazed around and was shocked to see Mia obediently kneeling in front of him saying, "Thank you for saving my life!
A surprised look appeared on his face as Mia told Arthur a made-up story.
