Chapitre 22: 22 To Egypt

After defeating the male I was expecting backlash from the mother but when I looked at her she was laying on her back. We had already made an oath for her to serve my family so I opened a portal to my realm. Looking through the portal I said "This will be your new home, my family resides here. When I call you will come to help me. I will let you hunt daily using the portal, now follow me." She nodded as we entered my realm. Randvi was the first to see the Wyverns and she let out a happy shout running up to me. As she aproached she ran by me toward the wyverns. I explained that they would be living here and that they were to help guard our home. Randvi ran up to the baby's not knowing which to hug first. With her inquisitive nature she began examining every part of them.

I had forgotten the language barrier as they spoke a broken Draconic and my family was still learning High German. (Francish) When my brother approached by instinctively he started to his like a snake. Ghats when I learned that he could comprehend what the Wyverns were saying. Leaving the Wyverns with him to translate I went back to the Wyvern Den. I left the portal open as I used telekinesis to push the valuables through. There was armor, weapons and raw shiny ores. After that was done I was left with a wyvern to deal with.

Grabbing my brother we began by removing the scales then cutting up the meat into steaks. We kept the bigger bones and scales for crafting. I imagined the blood as water and collected it in stone containers crafted from the cave walls. I sent my brother back with all the items and began my journey back to Ravenna.

After a few hours of flight I landed in the forest north of Revenna not wanting to scare the people. I walked into the gate and was met by the older vamp from the Umbri Coven. It was rather late but Vampires prefer the night. Going to the same villa I found myself before Markus again. Before he could speak I opened the bag on my back and the opening expanded allowing the male dragon head to be shown as proof. I had made the bag quickly as I was going to cast an invisibility charm on it only for my brother to point out that it would still be heavy and If I took to long the magic would dissipate allowing everyone to see it.

Markus had wide eyes as I said "This is your proof but I will be taking the head for research." He agreed as he explained it would take a few days to get the books to me. I was bewildered as many places still used scrolls. After resting in a room he had provided for a few days books were delivered to me. Upon inspecting the books I had found that they were the standard magic that Rome taught their battlements. I could use all the spells but they required words and wand movements which had no use to me. The last book that I found was quite smaller than the rest. Upon opening I found that it had 4 runes and their descriptions below them. The runes were for Light, Darkness, Magic and Communication.

Reading about then I could gleam thar the light rune was another form of the rune I had already learned. The Darkness rune was used for traps to blind your opponent. The magic rune was used to store mana. The pages following the mana rune explained the best items to store mana which were mainly types of metal and crystals. The last page was the Communication rune, it explained that putting the rune in a bowl of water would allow for voice transmission. The last rune was a major win if I could incorporate it with the light and mana rune I could make a holographic communicater. I quickly gave these to Floki through a portal and began my trip to Egypt. In the books the goblins were still attempting to brake into the pyramids to find artifacts and valuables. If I could get there I could mess with them and also learn the Egyptian hyrogliphs for more crafting.

I left the city and traveled with the horse south along the Roman roads. I rode south to Perugia which took most of the day. Then I portaled the horse home and flew in the dark southeast toward Calabria. I followed the land because I wanted to collect ingredients to grow in my realm. After awhile I landed in a forest, it had thick foliage. Walking across the ground I found Leaping Toadstools, Dittany and Fluxweed. The Toadstool was used in invisibility and brain strengthening potions. The Dittany is a healing plant either in Wigenwell potions or eaten raw. The Fluxweed is used in the most famous Polyjuice Potion. After collecting those items I continued looking for more, I came across another group of Toadstools only when I aproached to pick them up I was stabbed in the hand by one of the Mushrooms. Jumping back I noticed that within the toadstool was a Red Cap. Luckily for me I remember that basic stunning spells were enough to deal with them. Imagining a static shot I flicked my middle and thumb sending miniature lightning bolts at the Red Cap. Picturing my hand stitching up my hand began to heal in the blink of an eye.

With this misadventure I took to the sky again traveling to the isle of Sicily. Once there I landed in an open area that was oddly flat. I placed my Walston on the ground and began to open a portal. Once my magic circulated my portal failed and the ground opened below me. While falling down the large cavern I opened my wings to land safely. Once I landed a light blue barrier activated closing off my escape option. That was only the start of my problems as out of the side caves growling resonated. Out of the cave came a horde of zombies. Using fire bullet I handled them rather quickly. That's when the real crazy came out, Inferius. They are black bone skeletons only killed with fire, but they happen to be fast unlike the game. They have the speed of a vamp and the agility of a monkey. Missing all my shots I had to use an area of effect fire blast. All the fire I was using started to thin the air. This gave me an idea, using my imagination I began to visualize the Carbon disconnecting from the Oxygen. I picked a cave and began my journey to through the Labyrinth.
