Chapitre 210: Their Friends Arrive

That was the trouble with having such a strong bond with someone. The pair could read one another like a book and tell when something was off or one of them was lying. 

When Rachel returned home after she met with Vince, Carly noticed right away that her wife seemed to be down about something. 

Rachel tried to put it off for as long as possible, but she eventually confessed that she thought something bad might happen to Luca. She wouldn't say anything more specific than that but it was hard to keep something like that from the one person in her life she trusted fully. 

They held one another for a long time that night until Rachel felt a little better. At least she would no longer have to hide what was weighing down her heart. 

However, she wouldn't be able to wallow in her worries when they were set to travel with Ethan and Gus.
