Chapitre 589: Shocking revelation

 Jiang Heng was furious when he found out that Yin Fu had been dragged to prison. He could have helped her, yet he had failed her once again. 

Yin Zhu offered a soft smile as she shook her head. She told him, "Master Xun already took care of my injuries. He and Master Zeyu had already given me the ointment to remove the scars. The scars will be gone in a few days." 

Though she tried to lighten the stiff air, Jiang Heng's smile was still missing. He stared at her with a stern, assessing gaze before lowering his gaze. He apologised to her, "I am sorry, Miss Zhu. If I had known that such a thing had taken place. I would have definitely tried to put an end to it sooner." 

"It wasn't your fault," said Yin Zhu.
