Avada Kedavra!
Andy held his wand and pointed it forward, and a ghostly green light flashed.
"A killing curse ... is nothing more than that!"
Andy also experimented with a few dark magic spells while reading the book.
This feeling of sneaking and learning dark magic was still very stimulating, or at least Andy was a little bit addicted to the experience.
Fortunately, Andy still had a few points of self-control.
Each type of dark magic was used just superficially, as long as it could be cast, he would not continue to study it in depth.
As for some dark magic that was difficult to control, like the Fiendfyre Curse, Andy did not even have the desire to try it.
The Fiendfyre Curse's reputation could be considered renowned in the magic world.
Its power was very powerful, and its killing capability far exceeded the killing curse by dozens of streets. However, because the Fiendfyre Curse had a counterspell, the Fiendfyre Curse was not considered an Unforgivable Curse.
The magic world's requirement for an Unforgivable Curse is never the destructive power of the magic or the killing power of the magic.
Rather, it is the degree of evil of a spell.
Like the Cruciatus Curse and the Imperius Curse, the main reason why they were classified as Unforgivable Curses was because these two magic spells violated human morality.
'The Fiendfyre is still quite interesting, I have to try it when I have the chance.' Andy thought to himself.
The Fiendfyre could summon demonic flames that would continuously grow stronger, and these demonic flames were able to mimic the form of some monsters, and continuously hunt down all objects that could burn regardless of friend or foe.
'A conscious flame?'
Andy mused in his mind, 'I dunno if the principle of the Fiendfyre will allow me to perfect my Patronus Charm.'
Andy continued to flip through the book.
"Horcrux?"
Andy's movement of flipping through the book paused.
"The process of making a Horcrux is to split your soul and conceal a part of it in some object outside of your body."
"In this way, even if your body is attacked or destroyed, you won't die because you still have a part of your soul that is undamaged in the world."
"If one wants to successfully make a Horcrux, one must murder someone as a precondition, so that the soul can be split and fitted into the Horcrux."
Is this any different from a Lich's life box?
"Can you live forever by making a Horcrux?"
Andy read the whole Horcrux chapter with an exploratory spirit and felt some faint disappointment in his heart.
The function of the Horcruxes is indeed very powerful, but for splitting the soul ... Andy is very repulsive.
For a person, not to mention the lack of an arm, even the lack of a finger will bring great inconvenience to their life.
Not to mention, what is needed to make a Horcrux is to split the soul.
If the method of making a Horcrux was to put the entire soul intact like the Lich's Life Box, Andy might still consider it.
But splitting the soul ...
Andy wasn't even hesitant for a moment.
"So is this the secret to Voldemort's immortality?"
Andy thought of the dark magic item that Dumbledore had been searching for, and the state that Voldemort was shown at the end of the film.
"It seems that Voldemort did create Horcrux."
"And more than one."
Andy felt that Voldemort was a bit silly.
Is it possible for a wizard to climb to the peak of magic if his soul is not even complete?
"But if you think about it, Dumbledore is already the ceiling of the magic world."
Seeing no hope of climbing higher, Voldemort's choice couldn't be said to be wrong.
Andy continued to read.
Time passed little by little, and after about three hours, Andy closed the book with a 'snap'.
"Ah..."
Rubbing his eyes, Andy got up and stretched, placing the book 'Secrets of the Darkest Art' back on the shelf.
The harvest was great!
Andy didn't have Hermione's memory, and it was impossible to memorize all the contents of the entire book in just three hours.
But the knowledge in the book that might be helpful to Andy, Andy had memorized all of it.
The contents of the book "Secrets of the Darkest Art" were very advanced, so Andy couldn't possibly understand them fully now.
Andy planned to come back tomorrow and copy down all the contents of the book, and then study it in detail later.
Walking out of the Room of Requirement, Andy had a look at the nearby environment.
Right across from the Room of Requirement, there hung a tapestry of a troll beating up stupid Barnabas with a club.
Location locked!
'Well ... I just don't know what the preconditions are to make the Room of Requirement appear.' Andy had a bit of a headache.
By the time Andy turned around, the door to the Room of Requirement had disappeared.
Andy glanced at the Marauder's Map.
Andy was alone on the seventh floor of the castle, Filch had gone back to bed, Dumbledore had gone to bed, and Snape had likewise returned to his bedroom, though his name was still moving around.
'Perhaps Snape is torn on whether to have a bath or not?' Andy grumbled.
After circling the seventh floor of the castle, Andy came back to the vicinity of the wall where the Room of Requirement had appeared.
"Um...I need a classroom to practice my magic." Andy spoke.
The wall was unchanged.
Andy waited a moment, then repassed the wall, "I need a classroom to practice magic."
"..."
The wall was still unchanged.
Andy passed before the wall repeatedly and finally on the third time he passed there, the door to the Room of Requirement appeared.
'Is that three times?'
Andy thought to himself, 'I thought it would take seven times!'
When he pushed open the door of the Room of Requirement, the environment inside had completely changed.
It was an extremely empty classroom with mirrors, blackboards, and many humanoid puppets standing in the empty space in the centre, with target-like markings painted on their heads and hearts.
"Confringo!"
Andy pointed his wand at one of the puppets and with a flash of fire, the puppet exploded with a 'boom'.
"This place is just fantastic!" Andy was pleasantly surprised.
The abandoned classroom on the fifth floor of the castle was now insufficient to support Andy's magic practice. Especially some spells with great destructive power, Andy had no way to practice them at all.
Andy had long wanted to change the place, but it was a pity that he had not been able to find a suitable location.
Magic was not allowed in the corridor, going outside the castle was possible, but practising magic outside the castle could be observed by people too easily, there was no privacy at all.
The appearance of the Room of Requirement could be said to have satisfied all of Andy's needs.
But immediately afterwards, another doubt surfaced in Andy's heart.
'Who built this room ...?'
It could fulfil all the needs of people, so the difficulty of building this room shouldn't be low.
The name "Room of Requirement" was not a secret in the magic world, and in the book "Hogwarts: A History", there was also a description of the Room of Requirement.
Yet there had never been a second place in the magic world for thousands of years that had a such facility as the Room of Requirement.
'And what is its principle?' Andy pondered in his mind.
