Chapitre 69: Chapter 69 The Conflict On The Quidditch Field

We have reached 500 power stones. If we reach 550, I will add an additional chapter and will continue this pattern until we reach 100 chapters.

After that, each additional chapter will require 100 power stones instead of 50. [These additional chapters are separate from the daily chapter, so don't worry—I will continue to add one chapter daily regardless of the number of power stones].

Eisen proceeded step by step with the plan he had made long ago, occasionally observing the trio from a godlike perspective. He didn't expect them to run into trouble the very next day.

Early Saturday morning, Harry was woken by Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Quidditch team captain. Harry, who had planned to sleep in, reluctantly followed Wood out of the dormitory, still groggy.

Wood had been harboring frustration ever since Gryffindor lost the Quidditch trophy the previous year. In his opinion, Gryffindor's team had always been stronger than the other houses'. Unfortunately, Gryffindor suffered its worst defeat in three hundred years because Harry had missed the final match due to being in the hospital wing.

So, Wood, determined to rectify last year's loss, spent the summer crafting new training plans. And now, on this early Saturday morning, he dragged Harry out of bed to try them out.

Understanding the weight of last year's loss, Harry didn't hold it against Wood for waking him up. After leaving a note for Ron, Harry followed Wood to the locker room.

When they arrived, Harry saw that Fred and George were also yawning, sporting dark circles under their eyes, clearly as sleep-deprived as he was.

But the day was only getting worse. By the time they reached the Quidditch pitch, the sun was already high, and Wood took too long explaining the new plan. Ron and Hermione even showed up to watch from the stands.

However, the real issue arose when they discovered that the Slytherin team had also arrived at the pitch.

Wood was furious—Gryffindor had booked the pitch for the day. Eisen, observing the situation and recalling his memories, knew that a confrontation was inevitable.

Having mastered the art of observation to a near-perfect degree, Eisen could switch between normal perception and a 360-degree view at will. Though it took time to adjust, he had now fully adapted.

When Eisen arrived at the pitch, he saw through his godlike perspective that Hermione and Ron had stepped onto the field, where Malfoy was taunting them. The Gryffindor team immediately bristled, and Ron, in a fit of anger, drew his wand on Malfoy.

A loud explosion echoed across the Quidditch field as Ron's damaged wand backfired, causing him to stagger and collapse.

"Ron, are you alright?" Harry shouted, rushing over. Ron tried to respond but could only hiccup, vomiting slugs onto the ground.

The Slytherins burst into laughter.

"What's going on here?" Eisen asked sternly, checking on Ron before standing and addressing the crowd.

"Professor Eisen, Malfoy—he called her 'Mudblood,'" a furious Gryffindor girl, Arya Spinnet, replied, her voice shaking. She glared at Malfoy with hatred.

Eisen, stunned by Malfoy's audacity, wondered if something was truly wrong with the boy's judgment. To say such a vile and discriminatory slur in public? It was madness.

"Hermione," Eisen said softly, turning to her. "Remember, you're one of the best witches I've ever seen. There's no spell you can't master. People only say things like that out of jealousy. You don't need to let it bother you."

Hermione, still shaken, managed a nod and smiled faintly at Eisen's reassurance.

"Alright, you and Harry take Ron to Hagrid. I've got some things to deal with," Eisen instructed, sending the trio off.

As they helped Ron toward Hagrid's hut, Eisen made his way toward Malfoy. With every step, the tension grew, and the smirks on the Slytherins' faces disappeared.

"Professor Eisen!" Malfoy gripped his Nimbus 2001 nervously, swallowing hard as Eisen approached with a dark expression.

"Oh, I see you've all upgraded to Nimbus 2001s. Is that what gives you the right to bully your classmates?" Eisen's voice was sharp.

"I'm just an astronomy professor, so I don't usually meddle in Slytherin's affairs," he continued. Malfoy and the others visibly relaxed. But Eisen's next words made them tense up again. "However, I'll be reporting this incident to Professor Snape."

With a flick of his wrist, a card materialized in Eisen's hand, transforming into a hummingbird that flew off toward the castle.

A few minutes later, Snape arrived at the pitch, looking sour.

"Professor Eisen, I personally authorized the Slytherin team to use the Quidditch pitch. I don't think it's necessary for you to intervene," Snape said coldly, clearly displeased by the confrontation.

Eisen, having developed a method similar to the Patronus Charm for sending messages, had found it less conspicuous than a Patronus and often used it for quick communication.

"Professor Snape," Eisen replied calmly, "I have no issue with you approving the pitch for Slytherin. But I doubt you'd approve of Malfoy calling someone a 'Mudblood.'"

Snape's face twitched at the word, clearly struck by the memory of his own past mistake when he had called Lily Potter the same slur, damaging their friendship forever.

"You fool," Snape hissed at Malfoy, anger flashing in his eyes. "Do you want me to inform your father and have you expelled? Twenty points from Slytherin. You'll serve detention in my office tonight."

Turning to Eisen, Snape asked through gritted teeth, "Is this resolution satisfactory?"

Eisen nodded, a slight smile tugging at his lips. "Professor Snape has handled the matter fairly. I have no complaints."

Snape, clearly irked by Eisen's applause, gave a curt nod before turning and stalking off.
