Chapitre 55: Dyroth's Plan Unfolds

---

Halloween arrived swiftly at Hogwarts, casting a festive air over the entire castle. without the knowledge of Harry and Ron, who though they were hidden, every move they made was under Dyroth' watchful eye.

At the same time, Dyroth had noticed several senior students organizing themselves. They were preparing a surprise for Snape on Halloween. However, Dyroth doubted Snape would appreciate the gesture. With Snape's temperament, he would certainly be surprised, but happy? That was another matter entirely.

Students from other houses followed suit, heading to their respective Heads of House to deliver their own Halloween surprises. Even Hermione, though looking somewhat distant, was involved. Seeing her participation, Dyroth smirked inwardly as he laid out the next steps of his plan.

The key to tonight? Percy Weasley. The Gryffindor prefect, an academic prodigy, and one of the Weasley clan. Despite his unassuming role in the original story, Percy proved his strength by defeating Voldemort's puppet minister. Given time, he would have the chance to become the future British Minister of Magic.

Dyroth had been trying to figure out how to pull Percy into his plot, and now, with Harry and Ron tailing him, Percy was sure to get involved if he saw them sneaking around.

Everything was set. The script was written. Now, it was time for the actors to take the stage.

*Night at Hogwarts*

As night descended on the castle, the halls glowed with Halloween decorations. Pumpkin lanterns hung from the staircases, and the ceiling of the Great Hall shimmered with eerie brilliance. The professors sat at the head table, smiles lighting up their faces—except for Snape, whose scowl seemed darker than usual.

Students from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw were chatting excitedly, while Slytherin students appeared subdued, their spirits dampened by Snape's brooding mood.

"It's Disappointing, Dyroth," Draco remarked through a mouthful of food. "I thought you would wear something more extravagant than a Grim Reaper costume."

Dyroth simply smiled. The black robes weren't for show—they served a purpose. His all-black outfit made it easier for him to blend in and remain unnoticed in the dark. As he glanced around the hall, he discreetly tightened his grip on his wand, making sure Hermione, Pansy, and the others were present.

*BOOM!*

The Great Hall's doors slammed open. Professor Quirrell stumbled in, looking terrified.

"T-troll!" he gasped. "In the d-dungeons! A t-troll in the dungeons!"

The hall, once filled with excited chatter, fell into silence. Quirrell collapsed dramatically onto the floor, and pandemonium erupted.

"Silence!" Dumbledore's voice cut through the chaos. "Prefects, lead your students back to their dormitories. Teachers, follow me to the dungeons."

Students were still murmuring nervously, but under the guidance of their prefects, they began to file out of the hall. Meanwhile, Snape disappeared through a side door, his face twisted in an expression of barely contained panic.

Dyroth seized the moment, slipping unnoticed toward the back of the line.

"Harry, look! It's that dark wizard!" Ron whispered excitedly, grabbing Harry's sleeve. Harry looked where Ron was pointing and saw Dyroth sneaking away. A flicker of doubt crossed his mind. Was Dyroth hiding something after all?

"He's leaving! Let's follow him!" Ron urged, dragging Harry along as they left the group without realizing that Percy was calling their names.

"Ron? Ron Weasley!" Percy's voice rang out, but the two boys ignored him and disappeared into the shadows.

"Damn it!"

Percy muttered under his breath, watching helplessly as Harry and Ron broke away from the group.

Frustrated, he turned to his girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater, the Ravenclaw prefect, and his brothers, the Weasley twins.

"George, Fred, you two and Penelope take the others back to the common room. I have to deal with something!"

The trio exchanged confused glances, but nodded as Percy hurried off, determined to catch up with Harry and Ron.

---

Harry and Ron, unaware to Percy following them, continued after Dyroth. Percy, in turn, trailed behind them, weaving through the halls.

The group soon found themselves on the third floor.

Finally Dyroth, knowing the castle's secrets far better than most With the Marauder's Map in his hand, he expertly memorized all secret passages ahead, ensuring that Harry and Ron would lose sight of him when the time come while Percy struggled to keep up.

Unaware that Dyroth was fully aware of their every move, Harry and Ron hurried after him, while Percy, torn between duty and concern, trailed behind.

Dyroth knew it's time ,so he navigated through the hidden passage, emerging in a secluded corner.

He kept a safe distance from the Slytherins passing by, waiting until they were out of view before quietly following them towards their destination.

"Where did he go?" Ron muttered, frustrated as they reached the third-floor corridor and found no sign of Dyroth.

"I don't know," Harry replied, feeling increasingly uneasy. "He has got to be around here somewhere."

Before they could say more, the door to a nearby chamber creaked open, and Snape emerged, his pale face was twisted in anger.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley," Snape said in a low, dangerous voice. "Care to explain why you're wandering around the third floor when there's a troll in the dungeons?"

Harry stammered, "We—uh, we—"

Percy arrived just in time, panting. "Professor Snape! Harry and Ron—well, they—" He faltered, realizing there was no excuse for their actions.

Snape's eyes narrowed as he regarded the three boys. "Gryffindor students, in a restricted area. you're very typical."

Behind a corner, concealed in the shadows, Dyroth watched the unfolding scene with cold amusement. Everything was going according to plan.

While Snape dealt with the errant Gryffindors, Dyroth slipped away, unnoticed by everyone. He had set the stage, and now it was time to see how the rest of the night's events would play out. His carefully laid plans were unfolding perfectly, and soon, all the pieces would fall into place.
