"You come here after school?"

"No, school is almost an hour away from here."

Alexander Foster didn't respond, his eyes bearing a thoughtful expression.

After a while, he seemed absorbed in the joy of feeding her, not rushing to eat himself but focused on serving her.

"Have some soup." He pushed half a bowl of soup towards her.

Chloe, being thirsty, picked it up and took a sip.

She glanced at his bowl filled with rice and commented, "You're eating less than me. Will you have enough strength?"
