It was quiet all around, no trace of Chloe Collins.

He stepped out of the courtyard but didn't see her.

He went to the bathroom to wash his face and suddenly noticed a shelf with simple items, a cup, a toothpaste, and a toothbrush.

Next to it, there was a towel set for one person only.

Footsteps came from outside, and he shifted his gaze away from the cup and went out.

By chance, he saw Chloe coming out of the storage room.

He didn't mention that she fell asleep while watching the movie, only asking, "What do you want for lunch?"

Chloe lifted her eyes: "Aren't you leaving?"

He leaned casually against the wall, saying indifferently, "I'm hungry, won't have the energy to drive."

Chloe walked straight out.

She looked down at the phone.

Alexander Foster saw the takeaway interface on her phone and took it away: "Takeout is unhealthy."

"I'm not cooking." She said bluntly.

"Mhm, you don't have to cook." He said, while dialing a number on his phone.
