Chapitre 51: Chapter 51: Total Domination
For a Devil as prideful as Riser, who had suffered humiliation at Takumi's hands before this line had finally pushed him over the edge.
"You...! I'm going to enjoy breaking you. I will make sure you will never recover from this. I will leave you alive just to make sure Rias can see your pathetic state."
But instead of his words rousing anger from Takumi.
*Chuckle*
"Wow, now you have got me curious." It was as if Takumi was treating him like a child, a lesser being. Riser got up, his wings of flame unleashing and all of the injuries on him disappearing as the air around got hotter, Takumi just kept grinning.
"Some spirit you have. I'll tell you what, how about this. You hit me as hard as you can. After all, I wouldn't want the audience to think that I am bullying you harder than I already am." Takumi glanced at Riser, his gaze sent shivers down his spine which pissed Riser even more than he already was.
"Hah! You are going to regret your words mage! You may have your tricks but I will show you what the real gap between us is." Riser got into a fighting stance, rousing his magic power before concentrating it in his fist and lunging at Takumi.
"Inferno Blaze!" "Didn't I tell-"
*Boooooom!*
Riser's fist burned bright like the sun itself before striking Takumi head-on, creating a giant explosion that pushed the mist around them back while creating a lot of smoke and debris. It sounded like a missile had gone off.
"Haha, I hope you are still alive to regret your words mage! Wha-!" Before Riser could even finish boasting the smoke cleared and the sight he saw made the words get stuck in his throat.
Takumi, who was only pushed back a few meters, his sleeves only slightly torn and burnt, he was still smiling like the punch didn't even happen. Shaking his arms slightly he walked toward Riser menacingly.
"-You, I am the Red Dragon Emperor, not a simple mage. But I suppose the fault is on me for thinking mere words would get through your thick head. Don't worry, here, let me help you get it through your skull for you."
*Swish!*
One moment Takumi was walking toward him and the other moment he saw Takumi's figure blur before he saw a crimson gauntlet cover his vision as Takumi firmly gripped his face.
*Crash!* "Guah!!!"
Takumi slammed Riser face-first into the ground, cratering it as he planted Riser into the dirt like an idiot tree. But Takumi did not stop with that.
*Stomp!* *Crash!*
"Did it go through yet or do I have to push harder?"
Letting go of Riser's face he lifted his foot and slammed it down, planting Riser even further into the ground.
"You know, that punch was pretty solid, it might have even seriously hurt anyone who isn't me. But unfortunately for you right now."
Takumi's eyes gleamed in a cruel light.
"You stand no chance against me right now."

"But, just to humour you. I will drop down to your level, I wouldn't want to beat you too hard after all." "{Level Down}!" An announcement rang out from the Boosted Gear as Takumi's boost level decreased substantially while he sneakily hid his bleeding nose.
"Don't think this means I won't tear you apart though, you were saying some pretty mean stuff back there, I am hurt. Well not as hurt as you will be. But then again, that's a really tough competition."
"{Boosted Gear: Kelvin Catalyst}!"
Riser got up from the ground as his wounds healed. Still, before he could even make a proper move, the mist around them had been supercooled again by Kelvin Catalyst and massive amounts of frozen mist coalesced into a dragon head whose jaws snapped around his body and rag-dolled him around, its icy jaws sinking into his flesh.
Takumi had used the frozen breath to prepare the arena, the entire world was covered in freezing mist. In other words, the entire arena was in his domain. The only flaw of Kelvin Catalyst, needing pre-existing water was covered.
*Boom!* "Enough!" Riser waved his hands and blasted the dragon head apart with his flames as his gaze locked onto Takumi who hadn't moved from his position yet the frozen mist bent to his will.
"I'm sorry, did you just say not enough? Geez, you sure are high-maintenance. I guess you can have three more, as a treat. I really am spoiling you aren't I?" Takumi waved his hand as even more supercooled mist gathered and formed into three more dragon heads with their necks seemingly attached to Takumi, the heads instantly lunged for Riser.
"Your tricks wont work on me forever!" *Crackle!* *Hiss!* *Roar!*
Risers fierce flames responded in kind, blasting apart the hydra heads, but no matter what he did the heads kept reforming from the surrounding mist.
Furthermore, Riser noticed that he had to spend more mana to fuel his flames since his surroundings were steadily getting colder. While it was negligible at the moment it wouldn't be for long.
While Riser had to create his flames and overcome the cold of the environment all Takumi had to do was to lower the temperature of the pre-existing mist and control it.
*Chomp!* "Argh! Get off!" *Roar!*
Riser felt his arm getting pierced as frigid mist tried to invade his body and tear it apart from the inside. He sent another wave of flame to blast apart the hydra but it was a futile endeavor.
He had to spend more energy to make his flames hotter than Takumi had to make his mist colder.
It was a battle of attrition rigged against Riser.
"Rargh! Take this!" Ignoring the hydra heads chewing away at his body Riser raised his hands and created a giant ball of flame larger than a building before sending it down toward Takumi, tearing apart the frozen mist
"Sure, since you insist!" "{Switch: Pyro Catalyst!}"
Instead of moving to dodge or block Takumi instead reached out with his crimson gauntlet before managing to catch the giant ball of flame with his boosted gear by combining both Pyro Catalyst and Dominator's Touch to wrestle control over the flame from Riser.
*Booooom!*
Takumi then threw away the giant ball of destruction like it was trash, sending it to the side while it obliterated whatever was left of the school building.
"Any other gifts you wanna give me?" "{Switch: Kelvin Catalyst!}"
The mist around them got colder again as even more hydra heads formed and attacked Riser who gave up all defence and decided to instead dive toward Takumi.
"Bad choice Riser." *Snap!*
"Gah!"
Before Riser could reach Takumi he was slapped away by a giant dragon claw formed from the ice crystals floating around who smacked him away while Takumi jumped after him.
*Bam!*
Takumi caught up with his body before reinforcing his own body and kicking Riser back down to the ground and landing beside his regenerating body before noticing another presence nearby.
Creating some more frozen hydra heads to keep Riser occupied before dashing toward the other presence, seeing Riser's sister Ravel looking toward where Riser was being pinned down by the heads in both fear and amazement.
'So she was the only survivor huh?"
"Eep!" Ravel squealed in fright when in a single moment Takumi went from standing in front of Riser to standing in front of her, his presence was terrifying and domineering, like a dragon standing in front of you with its fangs bared.
"So you are the only one left huh? Since I do not like hurting pretty girls more than necessary and I doubt my ability to hold back at the moment, you can resign right now or you can join your brother." Takumi stated oddly calmly while staring into the flustered Ravel's eyes, making her blush and look away from his intense gaze.
"I- I think I will sit this one out, I wasn't even here to fight anyway, I forfeit." Before it went through Takumi placed his hand on her head and ruffled it as she blushed up to her ears.
"Good girl, seems like stupidity is not hereditary. Now if only your brother was so smart." Before Raynare could retort however she was teleported.
<"Riser-sama's Bishop has forfeited">
Takumi turned his waist and smirked at Riser who was getting mauled by 12 frozen hydra heads. Walking closer to him with a shit-eating grin.
"You see that Riser? Even your own sister couldn't stand to watch how badly I was beating your ass."
*Boom!*
Riser created a large explosion centered on himself, dispersing the hydra heads as he met Takumi's gaze. Laughing at his face.
"Hah! As if I need them to beat you. Really think a Phenex like me will lose in a battle of endurance? Your little snakes are worth nothing in front of me." What he was saying was somewhat the truth, Riser still had plenty left in the tank in terms of mana even though he was getting tired, Phenex clan had exceptional mana reserves which fueled their regeneration.
"Is that s-"
*Ptui!*
Riser spat in Takumi's face.
"Shut your filthy mouth you peasant, I am tired of your ramblings. I won't allow you to insult me any longer. I guess that finally wiped the smirk off your face" Riser smiled gleefully while Takumi pulled a handkerchief out of his inventory and wiped Riser's spit away from his face.
The smile on his had faded to a more stoic expression.
"I was planning on taking it easy on you. But I guess you can at least say you didn't die as a coward." Takumi raised his outstretched hand toward Riser as his eyes glowed with hatred.
"{BOOST}!"
"What's tha-" *SPLAT!*
Before Riser could finish his words his head was suddenly crushed like a rotten watermelon by a great pressure as large chunks of ice formed from the mist and slammed into both sides of his head.
*Crack!*
Then suddenly his limbs released noises of creaking and cracking as they bent in odd directions as Takumi spent an ungodly amount of his mana using Dominator's Touch to crush him directly. But he wasn't worried about his mana reserves, just incapacitating him was worth it.
*Crash!* *Squeeze!*
Slamming Riser's body into the ground one more time for good measure Takumi pulled the body towards him, grabbing the face before the mist all around them covered them completely, obscuring them from public view.
*Huff* *Huff*
Takumi took a moment to heave out bloody gasps, maintaining both Dragon Heart alongside such a large amount of boosts was not a good idea even if he drank a Boosted Advanced Stamina Regeneration Potion X before fighting. Even then his well of both stamina and mana was running low.
'Time to finish this.'
However, there was a reason he did not fear running out of stamina and mana.
'Absorption Line'
The Absorption Line manifested on Takumi's left hand as it attached multiple lines to Riser's body, starting to rapidly drain the stamina and mana out of him and into Takumi as he put Riser's energy to better use.
At the same time, the mist around him was forming into runes that were completely indecipherable to anyone who viewed them, yet tens and tens of runes were formed from the ice. And the mist condensed into solid chains of frigid ice.
'I guess that's about enough.'
Seeing Riser slowly regenerate Takumi dispelled Absorption Line and threw Riser like a ragdoll but Riser managed to snap himself out of it reorienting himself mid-air to land on his feet, his eyes open wide in shock.
"What...! Where is my mana!? What did you do you bastard!?" Riser shouted, creating a ball of fire in his hands but it was considerably weaker, due to his low mana and most of his passive mana regeneration going toward restoring his body.
"Oh Riser, you poor fool, you shouldn't worry about what I did, you should worry about what I am going to do to you." Suddenly Takumi started releasing immense amounts of mana as all of the mist surrounding the entire rating game arena started to gather in one place.
"{EXPLOSION}!"
It was like the world around Riser transformed as dozens of snow-white chains snaked toward him trying to ensnare him, no matter how many he batted away more formed from the cloud of ice.
The air was cold, incredibly cold, to the point where all the moisture in the ground and air was frozen, it was so cold the air was starting to liquefy, Riser started feeling dizzy and out of breath, it took more and more effort to bring out his flames.
It was like the moment he tried using his flames the heat from them was getting drained rapidly, and so was his body temperature, even though he struggled the chains started binding his limbs, robbing him of heat and strength.
"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! What the hell is this!!!???"
Runes glowed on the chains as horror crept up Riser's face, it was getting harder and harder to control his own mana, along with the chains the frost was condensing on his body, the ungodly amounts of mist and cold packing down on his body over and over, slowly creating an incredibly dense ice shell around him.
"It's punishment, don't worry, you will have plenty of time to think about your actions, well, you will have nothing but time." The mist suddenly got way more violent as the chains suddenly bound his body completely and ice formed around him in the middle
"Frozen Prison of Eternal Solitude..."
"Damn you...!!!" Risers' voice faded out the mist completely covered his body.
Takumi waved his hand, like a magician presenting a bunny coming out of a hat.
"Irithyll."
And when the mist subsided, all that was left was a semi-transparent ice crystal prism bound in snow-white chains covered in runes.
Riser Phenex was sealed away
A/N: The Rating Game is basically over, and as he promised, Takumi completely annihilated Riser beyond any shadow of a doubt like a true dragon of domination. And what do you do with an opponent that will keep regenerating? You seal them away of course.
Also, those of you with a keen eye may have noticed how off Takumi was acting in the fight, namely how much crueller and more prideful than he usually was. Well, Riser being Riser did not help much. It will be elaborated on more later.
But overall, what did you guys think about the fight and how it turned out? I would love to know your thoughts about it.
