Jada's whole body primed to alert at those words from her nemesis.

Her mind tried figuring out who else Smith could use as a threat to her.

In the background, she could hear some muffled scream and struggle as if someone is being dragged against her will.

" Oh here she is, " Smith said into the phone in a tone laced with malice and amusement as he watched his men bring the old lady forward.

He brought the phone to her mouth.

"Speak to your daughter, " he commanded in a hard tone, his eyes growing dark, removing the dark hood over her face.

" You! " The old lady screamed with rage before lounging herself at the man that took everything from her.

Melinda doesn't understand what was going on.

This morning on her way back from her grocery run these tedious men had forced her into their car and brought her here.
