"Mr Wang just arrived at the office with some officials," Zhiyu announced.
Mei Xing and Xiao Lin exchanged looks. They didn't expect Mr Wang to quickly point an accusing finger.
"Take these with you," Mei Xing handed the implanted documents to Xiao Lin. "I trust you can keep them out of reach."
"Yes ma'am."
"Good." Exhaling deeply, Mei Xing took a sit and opened her computer. "I'll review some documents before they arrive." That was her code for telling them to act normal.
Moments later, her secretary burst into the office, her eyes wide with alarm. "Ms Mei Xing," she gasped, "Mr Wang just arrived with some… officials. They say they are here to investigate some company issues."
"Thank you, Su," she said, forcing her voice to remain calm. "Please show them in."
"Yes ma'am," Su, the secretary nodded and left.
