The middle-aged woman looked at her assistant and then back at the young woman.

"My lady, can't we just tell His Highness that she would soon be dead since she isn't responding to treatment?" The young woman said, her face filled with little to zero hope.

The middle-aged woman knew that whatever her assistant was saying was true. "Then be ready to die with her," she said. There was no way they could tell the alpha that his soon-to-be wife wasn't responding to treatment.

They would be beheaded as a result and he would hire another.
