The babe puckered her mouth as the fuzzy blankets in her tiny hands fluttered up and down. "Who?" 

He wondered if he heard her right. 

"Shouldn't I be the one asking that?" Apollyon shook his head, muttering to himself rather than to the child.  "This is my lair." He enunciated slowly as he looked into her large grey eyes which seemed uncannily familiar. "Am I mistaken or did Luna move it somewhere else?"

The little girl tilted her head in question. "Mama?"

He squinted at her in suspicion. "Mama?" 

As he noted the fine silver wisps on the nugget's forehead, there was no question about who she was actually referring to. 

He jerked his head to the side, hiding the jealousy on his face.
