Chapitre 1: ROB'ed
"Okay where the hell am I."
Looking around there is nothing but swirling grey with bits of light and dark peeking here and there. Even the ground is nonexistent even though I can feel myself standing on something. Kinda reminds me of the last battlefield in Kingdom Hearts 2 but much greyer.
"Doesn't look like hell, but not heaven either. I don't remember dying so this might be a coma thing or a dream but I don't know if I can prove that." I try moving around, running, jumping, smashing the ground which I still can't see, screaming, even controlling things with my mind (hey it works in dreams!). Nothing changes.
"Well now what." I sit there in this limbo trying to figure out if there's anything else I can do; cause if this is eternity I think I'll go insane. Sure I can try entertaining myself with all the stories I remember reading and watching, but eventually I'll either run out or forget them both of which sound depressing and scary. My anxiety keeps creeping up as my mind keeps bringing out all sorts of horrible scenarios until finally.
"BOOO!"
"AAAHHHHHH! What the Hell!" I jump turn around and bring my arms up ready to either fight or run. Yeah pretty silly I know this thing could probably kill me no sweat but I want to at least go down fighting.
"HAHAHAHA! Its always nice getting to scare you mortals. You always react differently to each other. Maybe not much but always something different."
There's nothing there just a disembodied voice that I now notice seems to be coming from everywhere. I quickly look every direction I can and don't see anything different. After waiting a bit to see if the voice will say anything else I ask
"Who are you"
"Why me I go by many names but for you, you can call me ROB"
'ROB! O crud. I have read enough fanfiction to know where this is going. So I am dead and this is some waiting area where I get my powers and sent off to another world to get a harem and OP.' Hearing his name I get pumped, I mean who wouldn't it's isekai with OP powers, what anime lover wouldn't ( I am not an otaku okay I just like anime). Then as I start fantasizing it hits me. I AM DEAD. Mom and Dad will probably be devastated. Hell they might even start having trouble with the bills now that I'm gone. We weren't exactly wealthy and after some douchebags falsely accused my parents they got screwed with legal bills and my dad out of a career, which left all of us without much money. Luckily I was able to go to college, but the job market didn't pan out and I wasn't good with job searching. I was finally able to find a good steady job and we were making progress and then this had to happen.
'Wait I bet I could get ROB to do something for them'
"So this is the part where you give me OP powers and send me off to another world right."
"NOPE"
"WHAT"
"HAHAHA what fun is there in that. Well I did try it a few times but it gets so boring."
'Boring, wait this guy sounds like some of those bored devils that give the MC rigged powers for entertainment' "So what are you going to do"
"Well I am going to let you make some wishes and a world to go to and if I think its fun or interesting I'll grant it.
'Okay so I get some powers but gotta think this through cause he's sounding more like the devil every second' "How long do I get to think"
"Oh all the time in the world, after all one should savor good entertainment".
'Shooo, glad I got time now lets think this through and better treat this as a deal with the devil'
