As they indulged in the sumptuous meal prepared by William, laughter and conversation filled the room. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a stark contrast to the tension that often accompanied their celestial duties. Angela, in particular, was animated, her eyes lighting up with every story shared around the table.

However, their pleasant evening was abruptly interrupted by a sudden commotion outside the church. A cacophony of voices and footsteps reached their ears, muffled by the thick stone walls but unmistakably intense. Gabriel's expression shifted, his senses heightened as he tried to discern the source of the disturbance.

"It seems we have visitors," he remarked, his tone serious, causing Angela to look at him with concern. William, too, furrowed his brow, sensing that something was amiss.
