Chapitre 59: Souvenirs

Hazel finished her water bottle while sitting on her husband's lap and her head felt a lot better. She wasn't dizzy anymore though a slight headache remained.

"I feel a lot better now," she informed him. "I think I'll be fine once I have something to eat."

"Then let's get some lunch," Will replied.

He pressed a soft kiss to the part of her head that got hit and set her back on the chair so he could put his shoes and shirt back on. Her ears burned. The last person who had kissed an injury to make it feel better was her mother about twenty years ago.

She hastily took off the towel and wrapped her sarong around her waist. Once her shoes were on, Will wrapped an arm around her waist and claimed he was doing it in case she got dizzy again.

Hazel rolled her eyes. Sure. She totally believed that.

But she let him get away with it because she was feeling magnanimous after how he had worried about her earlier. It was hard not to be moved by that sort of thing.
