Chapitre 10: Poor Scabbers

"timemus nos!" Ivan waved his wand and pointed at Scabbers's head.

"Squeak! Squeak..squeak ..."

As soon as the spells came in contact, the mouse screamed in an instant his eyes were red with blood and so were his tears. Scabbers went insane under the spell.

In an Instant, the mouse kicked on the table with his strong claws and ran across the room bashing down the mugs and decorations along the way, and rushed deeper to hide.

Ivan felt satisfactory after witnessing the Outcome of Fear Spell, and finally, let go.

Unexpectedly, the Method to use the fear Spell is quite opposite to that of the Patronus Spell. the latter requires the Caster to Recall Happy Moments and Good memories of their life. and for the fear spell, requires Terrible events and Memories into the mind of the target that one would not want to recall ever.

It's like editing a normal video and adding some horror clips in between.

When casting the spell on Scabbers, Ivan conceived a scene where Scabbers was chased by black hounds.

Perhaps it was because Scabbers was asleep before the spell was cast. The power of the fear spell and sleep were combined. The effect of this dark magic is much stronger than Ivan pictured.

While Ivan was still happy to successfully release the fear spell, Ron and Harry who heard the noise in the common room also rushed in at this time.

Looking at the messy dormitory, Harry almost thought he was in the wrong room, and was about to ask questions, but Ron saw Scrabbers rambling in the Room.

"Oh, no! Scabbers ... Scabbers! What's wrong with you? Scabbers ..." Ron yelled, rushing into the dormitory swiftly, hurrying towards Neville's bed, trying to catch Scabbers.

But Currently, Scabbers was shit scared due to Ivan's Spell. He Saw Ron as a Dark Hound Speeding towards him like in his dream and he dashed under the bed from the gap, avoiding Ron.

"Ivan, what's going on here?" Harry looked at Ivan, who was calmly standing by the table.

"I was just rehearsing some spell I learned today at the Library." Ivan shrugged, then somewhat guilty opened his mouth and said. "there may have been a minute casualty.. ..."

Harry looked at Ron who was sweating to catch Scabbers Under the Table and sighed

'they may have to run behind Scabbers for a while to catch him'

Fortunately, the final situation was not at all as bad as Harry thought.

After tossing behind for a while behind Scabbers, Ivan remembered that he was a Wizard, and nabbed the chance to use the Levitation Spell on Scabbers.

For the Following Days, Ron was moping around a lot naturally Ivan Apologized to Ron and even bought Multi flavoured beans for Scabbers as a form of apology. In addition, Harry persuaded Ron. not to hold on to Scabbers' matter.

When Hermione, who got to know about this matter, criticized Ron for choosing a mouse over a friend. and had a fight, as Ivan expected.

on the Other hand, Ron took Scabbers with him almost everywhere, in Classroom, to Library, and then back to the Dorms and had a paranoia that someone was after Scabbers.

Ivan continued his life normally which consisted of the Classroom, then the Library and finally back to Gryffindor Dorms. He completed reading some basic Books and got a heck of a lot of points enough to use the Study Experience Card again, and In the past few days, his Spell Mastery Improved a lot.

This led to gradual growth in the grade points given by the professor after class!

In other classes, Ivan had a good record with the exception of Professor Bins, who teaches history and only gives a general evaluation every time.

As Ivan's Transfiguration Spell mastery had improved a lot. he even beat Hermione's Record, both Harry and Ron were too Stunned for the Rest of the day. they could not believe was he really the same Ivan?.

However, it was not so easy to upgrade, because every time the level of the magic is advanced, the mastery required for the next upgrade is doubled.

In addition to learning, Ivan was also searching for the Room of Requirements to Practice more freely, rather than his Dorm with a Grim looking Ron staring at him with Scabbers in his Arms.

He Read the Original Novel many years ago, unfortunately, he couldn't remember most of it, he only recalls it being somewhere across from the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy.

It wasn't until Friday of the Second Week that Harry received an invitation letter from Hagrid, and Ivan's normal plan was broken.

Of course, there was a piece of good news to it but also bad news,

The bad news is that this week they have to take extra potion classes with Slytherin.

"It would be nice if I could skip this morning. Potion professor Snape was also Slytherin's head. George told me to be careful around him..."

Ron and Ivan were chitchatting about what they heard from the Weasley twins in the corridor

"is that True? because Professor McGonagall is the head of our house, I haven't seen her being biased at all"

"I'm not the only one who thinks as such, but many of our seniors of Gryffindor also!" Ron was a bit angry at Hermione's Response, turning his head to Harry and Ivan"

"What about You?...what do you think? Professor Snape has a Melancholic Ambience around him at all times, there are even rumours about him being a former dark Wizard.."

Ron Instinctively lowered his voice while telling the rumours.

"Impossible, Professor Dumbledore won't let a dark wizard come into Hogwarts, much less make him a House Head." Harry shook his head.

However, during the banquet at the sorting ceremony, Harry felt that Snape didn't like his presence at all, other professors have been very nice to him all the time...

It won't be that bad...

Hermione shook her head repeatedly, and Ron could helplessly look at Ron and Ivan.

Ivan was now teasing Scabbers with a multi-flavoured bean. Hearing the conversation of several people, he glanced at Harry.

"Professor Snape is not aiming for Gryffindor but Us, I do not why..."

Speaking of which, Ivan felt a little Depressed, as it was impossible for him to get a good evaluation in Snape's class.

On the Other Hand, Harry was puzzled hearing Ivan's Reply

"Are you saying that Professor Snape hates Harry?" Hermione frowned, guessing his thoughts from Ivan's eyes before looking toward Harry.

Ivan admired Hermione's alertness in his heart, but the words must not be said truthfully, so she shook her head. "I'm very sceptical about all this, but don't you think that there's a change in Snape's expression every time he looks at Harry..?"
