Nick Hunt was a big fan of the Harry Potter series. It had been 10 minutes since he finished watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but he still felt unsatisfied. So, he decided to download the Harry Potter novels and start reading from the beginning. Suddenly, thunder rumbled in the sky, and lightning struck his equipment. An electric current surged through him, and he felt intense heat and pain.
Nick Hunt's POV:
I couldn't breathe, and it felt like my entire body was burning from the lightning. I tried to keep my eyes open, hoping for an ambulance, but I couldn't hold on, and everything went dark. When I opened my eyes again, I saw text floating in front of me.
{You are now an administrator. You can do something unimaginable in this Harry Potter world.}
"What?" I shouted. "Am I dead?"
{You are not dead, but due to the lightning, you were sent into the Harry Potter universe.}
"Wait a minute, Harry Potter? There are so many fun places I could have gone. Why here?"
{The lightning strike coincided with you reading the novel, and an unknown power sent you to this place.}
"Okay, what can I do here? Can I become a wizard like them?"
{Yes, you can become a wizard. Not just that, you can also turn a Muggle into a wizard. You have access to the administrator system, so you can tweak things a bit.}
"Nice! So I'm in Harry Potter, and I have more superpowers than a regular wizard?"
{True. You can also choose to enter another universe. Your PC holds many anime and manhwa, like Naruto, One Piece, Solo Leveling, and more. But you can only choose one universe to stay in, and you can't change it afterward. You have 10 minutes to decide.}
"Wait a minute, what's the point of having another universe if I can only choose one?"
{The other universes are available because of your movie and anime collection. Think of it like an NPC in a game—it's complicated to explain, but there are advantages. You can borrow powers from other universes, like Rasengan, Chidori, Haki, and Mana. You can also cancel abilities in this world, like the Killing Curse Avada Kedavra, or erase the Blood Curse Maledictus. You can even turn wizards into humans or Squibs.}
"Damn, this is overpowered! So, what year am I being sent to?"
{You can decide what year you want.}
"Okay, I choose November 10, 1975, and I want to create a quiz game that will live stream in real time, and only british wizards can participate in this quiz."
The system began loading: 1%, 10%, 25%, 67%, 80%, 100%.
{Good luck, host. May you enjoy this journey.}

Hogwarts, Monday, November 10, 1976
The sky was bright blue, and a boy sat alone under a tree. His greasy hair and dirty clothes hinted at a severe, troubled life. He had grown up in an abusive environment, poor and lonely. Just a few months ago, he had a good friend named Lily Evans, but their friendship fell apart due to James Potter. Eventually, he would join the Death Eaters, betray Voldemort to save Lily, and indirectly help Harry Potter defeat him, ending the war. Out of gratitude, Harry would later name his son Albus Severus Potter. But today, he was just a lonely boy about to be bullied by James.
To win Lily Evans' affection, James Potter chose to bully Severus Snape, suspecting that Snape had feelings for her. This jealousy led James to target Snape even more severely. He promised to stop bullying people for six months to date Lily, but his nature to prank, hex, and bully others led him to do it secretly, especially to Severus Snape.
Side Notes: I've gone through the canon, and it's true that James bullied Snape even after dating Lily in 7th grade. Snape would retaliate but was never the one to start the attacks.
James believed Snape was different—evil—and had a personal vendetta against him. Because of his promise to Lily, he bullied Snape in secret, where no witnesses could see him.
Lily Evans' POV:
It had been two months since she saw James stop pranking people, but she still remembered his words after the OWL exams in June. He had promised to stop hexing people for fun if Lily would date him. From September to November, there were no reports of James bullying anyone, and part of her heart began to warm to him. She felt happy with James' behavior and often reminisced about her last words to Snape, after she failed to stop him from befriending Mulciber. They were no longer friends.
Albus Dumbledore's POV:
He opened the newspaper and read the news. There were more and more victims of Voldemort—Muggles and Muggle-born wizards being slaughtered. Even pure-blood families were disappearing one by one. It seemed that an inevitable war between him and Tom Riddle was on the horizon. He needed to recruit more people to fight the Death Eaters. "Why, Tom? Why have you become like this?"
Suddenly, the sky outside darkened. He felt something vibrate and heard a sound. He looked out the window and saw that not only he but also the students could see this phenomenon.
Minister of Magic, Harold Minchum's POV:
It had been a year since he became Minister of Magic. Voldemort was a constant thorn in his side, causing destruction without any clear purpose. Was he trying to become Minister, or did he just want to kill Muggles?
Minchum regretted taking on the role of Minister; the stress of handling the Voldemort affair could kill him. Suddenly, he noticed the sky growing dark.
Nick Hunt's POV:
At first, I planned to become the strongest wizard and defeat Voldemort. With the system's help, it would be easier, but less enjoyable. So, after watching The Deathly Hallows one more time, I decided to let every wizard in Britain know the future.
I also wanted to help Lily understand what Snape did to protect her son. I hoped Lily would reject James. I just wanted to convey the truth to her. That's why I decided to host a live quiz game with significant rewards. There aren't many wizards in Britain—only around 4,000, with over 250 of them already in the Death Eaters. With a population of 56 million, of which 15 million are Squib descendants, it was time to shake things up.
Back to the Present:
The screen lit up, and figures appeared in the sky.
"Hello, everyone. I'm Nick Hunt, your host today."
"Today, we'll be hosting a special event: a quiz about the future. Unfortunately, only wizards in Britain can participate; wizards in other countries can only watch."
"There are many benefits to answering my questions. I can reward you with various things, like magic spells, gold, and physical attributes. I can also erase curses like the Killing Curse or the Imperius Curse. As long as you answer correctly, there will be rewards."
International Wizard Quiz: Start Now
QUESTION: WILL VOLDEMORT BE DEFEATED IN THE FUTURE?
Voldemort, who was planning to create another Horcrux, was shocked. Not just him—even Dumbledore was puzzled by the strange occurrences. Every professor and student went outside, driven by curiosity, as did the people in Knockturn and Diagon Alleys. Everyone who heard the announcement stared at the sky.
"I will provide a quill and parchment to every eligible wizard. I'm sorry, but current and future Death Eaters, as well as their supporters (like Dolores Umbridge), can't join this contest. I don't want to reward racists and rapists."
Side Note: Narcissa Black can answer the question because I chose her to give her a chance to leave her abusive family.
Suddenly, a floating quill and parchment appeared in front of everyone, except Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Snape, who was about to be bullied, noticed that no parchment appeared in front of him. From that moment, he knew that in the future, he would accept Lucius and Mulciber's offer to join the Death Eaters.
Many Slytherin students didn't receive quills or parchment, and shockingly, neither did Wormtail, causing the Gryffindors to look at him strangely. Students and wizards began answering the question, hoping that Voldemort would be defeated, placing their faith in Dumbledore.
After one minute, Nick Hunt was surprised to see that 99.95% of Britain believed Voldemort would be defeated. It seemed they were eager for someone to end his tyranny.
99.95% Answered Correctly—people like Narcissa Black and Walburga Black chose different answers.
Rewards: Everyone who answered correctly received an agility and strength attribute boost.
Afterward, everyone who answered correctly felt their bodies become stronger. The system hadn't lied about the rewards.
Next, I'll show a clip of what will happen in the future.
PS: If you like this novel, reward me with Power Stones.
