Chapitre 78: birthday celebrations and Hogwarts letter
Nicolas and perenelle prepared a grand dress for Alex made from dragon leather, unicorn hair, thestral tails, he looks like a prince in that outfit. Alex asked is it really necessary for a dress this grand as he will grow up and this will not suit him but they said the dress has enchantment of auto sizing and auto clean and they told him, they will send dresses like these occasionally, Alex sighed and didn't say anything.
they used a portkey approved by French ministry and arrived to potter manor, Lily is already waiting for Alex and when she saw him appear she ran towards him and embraced him tightly, Nicolas and perenelle didn't say anything as it's a mother's love and concern for the child which they never get to experience, Lily looked at Alex prince like outfit and asked him about the people when he said they are Nicolas and perenelle in their youth after drinking the elixir, Lily is shocked them greeted them in an elegant manner as lady of house potter.
Alex who observed this wanted to laugh as his mother only acted like this when there are guests, perenelle on the other hand took Lily went to talk about their lady talk, while Nicolas greeted James, there are also longbottoms and Greengrass family along with Sirius and Remus who is in a daze at the sudden appearance, then introduced themselves, then Nicolas started his talk with James and the men in the group while Daphne approached Alex with her sister and brother, they wished Alex a birthday wish, while Daphne is in a daze after watching Alex in a prince like stature and outfit, she is blushing and Cyrus shook his head watching Daphne while Astoria gave Alex a hug and say thank you for curing her and said happy birthday.
Daphne who watched this immediately switched to yandere mode smiling at Astoria menacingly and Cyrus who observed this dragged Daphne away to prevent young Astoria from having nightmares about her sister, Alex also observed Daphne and is shivering from the gaze while Daphne is saying words," kill, pests around my Alex must be exterminated". hearing this even Cyrus is trembling and Astoria looked at trembling Alex with a confused face as she didn't notice Daphne.
Florian Greengrass watched this and laughed remembering Adorabella and he found them similar then secretly prayed for Alex about his future, Frank and Alice Longbottom are cured and discharged from hospital, they along with Neville approached Alex and told him how grateful they are to Alex even Neville is looking at Alex with stars in his eyes like he is some kind of hero in a fairy tale.
Alex greeted and talked with them for sometime and Sirius approached Alex along with Remus then wished him and presented their gifts, Sirius gave him a golden chain, while Remus gave him a music player from muggle world with some songs. Sirius teased Alex for having many girl friends at such young age and gave him some pointers while Remus is looking around if Lily heard them, because if she heard what Sirius is saying there will be a good beating today for Sirius and even James , as expected Lily observed Sirius and giving him a death glare, Sirius shivered and silently escaped from there.
Daphne however is giving Astoria wierd gazes all the time and even her parents asked what is it when they saw Daphne like that. she is constantly murmuring about murder and kill which make Cyrus beside her tremble and only when she looked at Alex ,will a smile bloom on her face. Astoria on the other hand don't know about Daphne gazes and hugging her feeling she is sad about something, this made Daphne calm down a little.
Nicolas and perenelle watched Daphne and smiled at Alex , then evening came Harry and Alex changed into clothes brought by Nicolas and perenelle, they both looked very handsome , especially Alex with his silver hair and soothing gaze, Daphne looked at Alex with a blushing face while Astoria has stars in her eyes while looking at Alex.
then Harry together with Alex cut the cake , there is a feast between the families while they share their experiences and started laughing , Alex and Harry opened their gifts, longbottoms gave Alex a grimoire and a locket with a gem that looks enchanted same with Greengrass family except they gave him a bracelet instead of locket. Nicolas and perenelle gave Alex a card that can be used to as portkey to travel to their flamel house repeatedly and a key to their vault in gringotts, this shocked all of them present in the party including the potter's and Nicolas told them about making Alex his successor, this brought even more shock to them and he told them to keep it a secret. James and Lily has no objections after they confirmed Alex will belong to house potter and only act as successor until his marriage with a lady that will take over the affairs of house flamel on Alex's consent.
after the party James and Lily asked Nicolas about how Alex became their successor, Nicolas explained everything and also told them about the philosopher's stone, which shocked them, Lily smiled and said nothing while James is feeling proud until Nicolas told them about Alex marrying multiple women, this make them show a weird face that make Nicolas and perenelle laugh.
they bid farewell to Alex and asked him to write letters to them.
the party is over and the next day there is a letter from Hogwarts to both Alex and Harry, after reading them James and Lily are puzzled seeing the list of books, Alex know what is it and asked them it's not necessary to buy those novels as in the movie as thee books just sit on the table all year without being read by students. even Harry is suspicious about the book list and Alex told Harry that Lockhart is a fraud and he will know when he went to Hogwarts.
Alex wondered whether Harry and Ron will continue their adventure in car or it will occur normally, until when Alex went to his room and met a house elf named dobby and he instantly guessed he will be targeted this time instead of harry.
