this is an story which may contain many cliches and stuff but it may contain something new .
As I am an avid fanfiction reader fanfiction leads to me now hating some characters and the story doesn't generate much interest so here goes nothing.
So for basic world info I am including some norms of history it may contain religious figures who are worshipped and I mean no harm to them as they are just have a small part in this story so if you are having concerns or are offended I am ready to edit it .
I have done some research regarding immortals of every religion or an Country and most of them have 7-9 immortals believed to be alive or some are dead till date so I am keeping 9 immortals for my world building they are just a small part of the story and may not be of significance but I like the idea of it .
Interestingly enough many immortals of different religions and community contain similarities with each other so just for context I am going mostly for indian mythology as it is vast and has the most detailed knowledge of stories of those immortals they are as follows :
1) Hanuman Kesarinandan ( I adore and respect and believe him a lot so I chose his name like Thor odinson where his surname means son of odin so Kesarinandan means son of Kesari )
2) Ashwatthama
3)Rishi Ved Vyasa
4) Parshurama
5) Rishi Markandeya
6)Kripacharya
7) Goddess Iduna (from norse mythology)
8)I will keep this as my mc as one of them to fight alongside Kalki Avatar so Harry Potter master of death

So some may have got some context but I am only saying a little about it so immortals as you say are not really immortals they are just long lived so every immortal pass on when it's time for his rebirth for example harry potter was born in 31st July 1980 but he became master of death during May 4-6 1998 so the older version of him completed his duty and perished on May 2 1998 as he saw voldemort die . and for context the older him can't change timeline due to cosmic events and he hasn't disrupted his sacred timeline cause he has to take it into consideration that he has to become master of death or the world may suffer more consequences

every character have their own version and I don't think I can relate with your version of that character than what I came to understood
