Chapitre 13: Sticks And Stones Aren't Stronger Than My Friends

" Ready for another round of fun Bandit? " Louis asks his buddy who in turn, nods his head in excitement.

" Alrighty then! Off to the forest we go! " Louis exclaimed, excited to meet his friends in the forest again.

But just before he can have one foot out the door, he's yanked back by a force that tugs him by the hood of his jacket.

" Yeah, no. You are supposed to be in class learning. Not going out on small adventures with your new found friends every chance you get, leaving behind a clone to attend all your classes is a big 'No'. I swear on Merlin's beard, your clones love studying more than you! "

Louis shrugs his shoulders at that. ' It's not my fault my clones are so good at learning a topic I already know. Plus, my knowledge passes on to my clones, so it's more like a revision if anything really. '

Telepathically linking his thoughts to Richard only makes the boy more frustrated with his younger cousin.

After a while, Richard found it best to just give up and head to class, whether Louis would be going there or his clone was, is not his problem, he's on the verge of having a headache at this point.

Staring at the back of his older cousin heading off to class, Louis can't help but ask " Perhaps it's be best if I attend class for today, there's always tomorrow for an adventure. "

Bandit - hidden in his robe - makes a noise of agreement at Louis' rhetorical question. With that, the odd pair makes their way for class.

Once lunch comes around, classes have all finished and students are now heading off towards the dining hall in order to appease their famished stomachs and rest their tired minds.

The three cousins make their way for the Gryffindor table amidst the crowd of hungry children. " I will never get how these idiots function. " Annie quips with gritted teeth, attempting to move avoid the shoving and pushing.

" Your telling me, at least your not the one being pushed around like a bludger!. " Richard retorts back, only to be caught off guard by a laughter above their heads.

Looking up, their eyes are met with the sight of Louis flying in the air, above the sea of small humans, observing their every movement.

" Great. You can fly. Now why don't you help us out of this predicament? " Annie states bitterly as the shoving of the crowd begins to make her close to blowing her fuse.

Eyes widening at her obvious discomfort and on the verge of exploding in anger, Louis hastily casts the spell on the two with a flick of his wand.

" The spell is easy but still complicated enough that I have to use my wand. Perhaps if I can find a way to remove the unnecessary enchantments from the spell, there won't be a need to use my wand at all! " Louis states in delight.

" Why? it's already a miracle that you're able to cast a flight spell. And besides, if it is complicated to the point where you'd have to use your wand, simplifying it could make it less effective. Don't you agree Ann? " Richard asks.

" Why are you dragging me into your discussion? My forte isn't in practicality spells, it's in body enhancement spells and you know that. "

" Ah, right. My bad. " He apologises once realising his mistake. Rolling her eyes, they proceed to consume their food, still floating above everyone else.

Once lunch ends, the three heade

off to the library interested in seeing what the school has to offer for it's students education.

And definitely because they had nothing better to do at one in the afternoon.

' I'll spend an hour here before heading off for the forbidden forest, I promised Gideon I'd follow him to the Griffons kingdom. It seems that I peeked the interest of their king. '

The boy casually states to the other two through the mind-link, Richard chokes on air at the news while Annie trips on her own feet.

' I'm sorry Louie, mind saying that again? It seems my hearing isn't functioning, though it is through mind-link. The KING of GRIFFIN kingdom wants to meet you, cause you peeked his interest? ' Richard asks flabbergasted, in complete in denial at what he just heard.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, Annie speaks, ' Now that I think about it, Louie does have royal friends from the animal kingdoms, and it is all because he peeked their interests.

' Great, now I have the feeling that Louie is going to become Merlin 2.0 at some point in the future. '

' Ew, I'd have a long white beard if I became him. No thanks. ' Louis retorts back with a disgusted look on his face at the thought of him with a pointy hat and a long white beard.

The three giggle at the thought, losing their concentration and turning visible, making those around them look to them like they're weirdos.

They lower their volume after some time, a few books catching their interest.

Sitting down at one of the unoccupied tables near the shelf they picked their books from, the three begin their silent reading.

Half an hour later, the entrance of the golden trio fills the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the area with noise pollution.

' I swear, those three were either raised by barbarians, or monkeys. Must they rave on and on about Nicolas Famel, the maker of the sorcerer's stone?

They're basically shouting out " I know what you're doing, I will find you, and I will stop you " They'll make horrible wizarding detectives if that's the career they intend on pursuing '

Silently scoffing at the three students next to their table, Louis gets up and begins to leave for the forbidden forest.

" Have fun, and don't forget to bring back souvenirs. " Annie mumbles as she continues reading her book based on the history of merlin and his many adventures. Richard just waves him off, to engrossed in his book which discusses about the origins of magic.

With Bandit snuggled in his hoodie since breakfast, Louis turns invisible once more and heads off to meet his Griffin friend.

Entering the zone of the forbidden forest and roaming the grounds happily. A unicorn suddenly runs into Louis, quite literally in fact.

Tackled onto the ground from the force of impact, Louis only laughs as he hugs the unicorn that ran into him, " Meister! Stop! It tickles! " Is all he's able to get out in between laughing and crying from the unicorn called meister.

Meister stops after a few minutes and lets the boy - previously tickled till tears came rolling down his cheeks, stand and readjust his disheveled clothes.

" So what can I do for you Meister? If I recall, you were summoned back to your homeland due to something urgent happening there. Is everything okay now? " He asks concerned. Meister nods his head answering back.

Confused, he asks again " Then why are you so jumpy today? You do remember I have someplace to go to with Gideon today right? " The unicorn nods again.

" Okay.....Then, what is it? " Answering the question at last, the horn of the unicorn glows and a letter appears out of thin air.

" Cool! " Is all Louis can say.

Taking the letter into his hand and opening up, he reads out. " Greetings young Louis of the house of prince, I apologise for using your family name but it is necessary to use it when writing a letter to someone.

Anyways, I would like to invite you to our homeland so as to get to know each other formally. It seems that young Meister has taken an extreme liking to you and I would like to meet you to find out why.

I eagerly await your response.

Ps, Meister will send bring you to our homeland once you have decided your answer. " A long silence follows once Louis finishes reading it, only to be broken by the boy bouncing up and down in excitement like a puppy.

" No way!!! I get to go to your homeland?! So cool! " He exclaims as he rams into the unicorn, hugging him as thanks.

Not long after, Gideon shows up flying in the sky approaching the unicorn, niffler, and Princeton.

Saying their goodbyes, Louis climbs onto Gideon's back with Bandit safely in the pocket of his hoodie, ready to see the king of the Griffins.

After Meister sees the three off, a sudden noise brings his attention to his surroundings.

Trotting closer to the spot where the noise came from, the unicorn is surprised when it's met face to face with Robin and Marrie, the squirrels Bandit ran into during his exploration of Hogwarts.

Confused as to why the two look like they're planning a murder and a funeral for people he does not know of, he neighs to bring their focus onto him, asking them what they're doing.

After the two squirrels rant with obvious anger telling their encounter with some wizard hunters that stumbled upon the forbidden forest grounds by chance.

And how they started to terrorize whatever they find worth a lot of money, Meister decides then and there that he'll make the hunters regret ever being born.

No one messes with his friends - that and the centaurs will kick up a fuss if they find out what's happening - and he does not want that to happen for they are they most annoying to talk with when agitated.

An hour after Meister's formulated his plan, the soon-to-be victims in question are seating near a bonfire with captured creatures of all sorts held in nets, some in cages.

" HAHAHA! We should come here more often! These bloody monsters are EVERYWHERE, and with such high value in the black market too! We'll be RICH in no time! AHAHAHAH "

One of the scraggly hunters exclaimw as he sharpens his knife. The other four hunters nod their heads with shit eating grins etched on their faces.

" You're right boss! And since no one ever comes here, this gold mine is ours for the taking! " A stick long hunter adds to the assumed boss', statement.

What they don't know however, is that a Unicorn's planned their demise ahead of time for them. Freeing the captured creatures silently, Meister's plan begins.

Mid way into his witch-like laughter, a stick hurls it's way straight into the face of the presumed boss, effectively stopping his high pitched laughter.

Stumped by the stick, the boss grows furious, face turning red and steam pouring out his ears " OI! WHICH IDIOT THREW THAT AT ME! " he hollers out to no one in particular.

Instead of receiving a verbal answer, a rock the size of a soccer ball, flies straight into his stomach, knocking the wind right out of him.

Curling into himself on the ground to ease his pain, his subordinates stop staring and start looking around for the culprit. Only for their faces to kiss tree trunks that slam right into their faces out of nowhere.

While his lackeys attempt to soothe their faces as the cry, the boss manages to regain his composure and stands up again.....It's futile however, as he is pummeled to the ground by thousands of acorns raining down on him from the above.

Hearing and witnessing their boss's state with horror, the lackeys turn around wanting to run out of the ' haunted ' forest to save themselves.

Though It does no good for them, as they run right into a hard and fluffy wall twice the size of them, making them fall onto the ground with a thump.

Looking up to see what stopped them, their eyes widen by a large margin upon seeing a grizzly bear staring down into their souls.

Not wanting to stay any longer then needed, the group of hunters gather together in one area in an attempt to stay safe. To their horror, it does not, as a net made of vines encases them from the ground up and suspends them in the air.

" HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL DID THESE STUPID ANIMALS GET A NET! " The boss bellows out as the rest of the hunters move about uselessly, screaming incoherent words in an attempt to escape.

Just as the group of hunters calm down, a unicorn trots it's way to the group, a menacing aura surrounding it.

Knowing they had no way out, the boss stares straight into the eyes of the unicorn and speaks with a sickening smirk on his face, talking out of spite " Brainless creatures like you are the reason why we wizards can't get anything good. "

Already angered enough with the group, the boss' words is the thing that makes Meister erupt with anger, his horn glows as he knows that what was said, are only words, and that there are good people like Louis out there.

And there will always be bad people, but if those who understand magical creatures like Louis grows in numbers, their lives could become even more joyous.

With that he casts a simple nightmare spell which all unicorns know, and throws them into the sky far away from Hogwarts on the other side of the world.

Happy with what they accomplished, the creatures of the forest celebrate soon after, with berries and deserts sprawled out onto the dining table Louis made for them.

They held a grand feast, happy with their victory of the day.
