Daphne thought to herself that she was doing well with not being overly emotional about what had happened between her and Kian. She still didn't know why she did it but at the time Daphne felt like it was a feeling she couldn't control. Her intention at first was to only kiss Kian, but a lot more happened after their lips came in contact. They didn't plan for it but Daphne felt like it was okay, they were friends, and they were both comfortable with each other. There was no need to overreact and make things awkward. Daphne understood that Kian wanted Tessa, not her. She had told herself that she didn't want Kian to want her, she needed to put her focus on her plans for revenge and not let anything distract her from that.
