Chapitre 72: Reserved Seat Even In Her Absence

"Hi, Ryan…"

Ryan, finding himself suddenly face to face with a coy Elaine coming way too close to him, is instantly annoyed. But he remains expressionless and unmoving, staring unamused back at Elaine.

Her head was tilted to one side and hanging just a bit away from him as she rested both her arms on his desk.

Seeing as Ryan is staring blankly back at her, Elaine moves a hand in an attempt to touch the wrist cuff of Ryan's arm close to hers, but instantly, Ryan pulls back both his arms, resting them under his desk.

"What do you want, Elaine?", he asks pointedly, narrowing his eyes at her.

Faced with Ryan's sudden deathly glare, Elaine takes her hands off his desk to stand erect.

She had attempted to go too far just now. But thankfully, no one had seen Ryan evade her touch. They had only seen her lean into him. That was enough.

"Don't glare. I only came to say hi.", responds Elaine with a hair flip.
