Liliana happily ate the slice of butter pecan cake served on the table. It melted in her mouth, spreading its sweetness from her tongue to her heart.

After swallowing a bite of the dessert, Liliana shifted her gaze from the cake to the man sitting by her side. Her beaming eyes met his dazed ones.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Liliana chuckled, a hint of tease embodying her tone, "Still can't believe it?"

Lucas blinked, nodding once as his eyes slowly regained their clarity. His voice softly resonated in the air, reaching Liliana.

"Yeah... I still think that I'm dreaming."

Lucas' naively adorable answer prompted laughter out of Liliana's lips. Lifting one hand, she gently poked one of his blushing cheeks.

"You're not dreaming. We're officially in a relationship now."

While Liliana saying that, Lucas took her hand in his. He pressed a thumb in the middle of her palm.
