Chapitre 149: Nightmares

"Hmm," Nessa purred and turned to the side. She was very cold and instinctively leaned towards Damon to share body heat. The wind was blowing strong but she was too tired and lazy to shut the window.

Feeling his body, a smile crossed her lips and she drew closer to him. However, even with that, the cold didn't stop, rather it increased. To make it worse, it was almost as if Damon was the source of the coldness and that was strange.

Unable to stand the cold, Nessa had to drag herself off the bed. Since the light was out, she turned on the lamb on the nightstand and as soon as the light shone on her face, it erased most of the sleep from her eyes.

"Hey," she tapped Damon on the shoulder, "You should go wear a sweater, you're very cold....." Nessa trailed off when she touched a wet substance that made her uncomfortable.

Her heart began to pound fast and Nessa slowly brought her hand to her face only to scream in horror.
