The year is 2070, and for many, the warm June evening is joyful and relaxing, bringing with it waves of nostalgia along with anticipation for the future. And for the Myers couple, it certainly was a good evening, they were just returning from the hospital, ready to bring their infant son home for the first time. Mike, whilst driving slower than usual to accommodate the sleeping babe, had a determined look in his unique gray colored eyes. The new father was quite literally silently cursing every bump on the road, he'd be damned if his son woke because of the worsening street condition. God knew the city never did a good job on them no matter how much tax money its citizens paid.
His wife on the other hand, was completely enamored with the new addition to their family. Julia's gaze was fixated on little Jaune. The maternal love clearly heavy in her mannerism, she held and caressed the young boy as if he were made of porcelain, her golden locks falling just a hair's breadth from the child's face. Overall, the Myers family was on to a great start, and on a road of happy memories proxy to being blessed with a child.
The couple was well off, and though they used to work full time like most adults of modern society, Mike had won the mega jackpot lottery two years ago. It consisted of a bit over a hundred million, and was quite frankly much more than they would ever use. They were accustomed to middle class life, hence their humble personalities. Of course, as any intelligent adult would, they invested a part of their money and saved the bulk of it. Not to say that pleasantries and treats weren't acquired, a million or two means almost nothing when you have that much after all.

After a rather mundane, yet comfortably quiet car drive, their car was finally pulling in their private driveway. Getting out of the car, Mike briskly walked over and hurriedly opened the car door like any respected gentleman would. Men like him were a dying breed, not many could appreciate the confident and kind charm a gentleman naturally had. After making their way inside their cozy modern house, they quickly went to the bedroom, it had been a long and exciting day for both of them after all. And so, Mike and Julia snuggled in bed with their son in between, happier than ever, falling asleep with a smile visibly etched on their faces. Which would soon be wiped clean off after going through the suffering that is an infant' sporadic sleep schedule.
Time Skip: 10 years
A whole 10 years had passed since the Myers duo had Jaune, a brave and kind determined kid. And just like his namesake, he had the hair to prove it, and if you couple that with the striking grey eyes he inherited from his father, anyone could tell he was going to be a heartbreaker in the near future. Jaune had a very happy early childhood, with both of his parents home almost all day every day, he couldn't have asked for more. He sometimes played with the other children of their gated community at the park playground near his house, though ultimately, Jaune was a child very fond of his family and had to be quite literally kicked out of the house by his mother to go and socialize with other children his age.
Jaune's school life was as mundane as it could get, and though his parents had enrolled him in a prestigious learning institute that nurtured childrens' creative and ambitious talents wherever they may lay, his day to day schedule was rather monotonous. Jaune had long since made it his personal mission to find a way to kill his boredom, his worst enemy! And in a moment of musing, the child had a bulb light in his head and soon jumped off his bed and ran to the living room, the most likely place for his parents to be on a Saturday evening after supper.
"Mom, dad!"
Rounding the corner, Jaune loudly exclaimed. Looking alarmed, the couple was jump scared by their own child, how shameful.
"Arg, come here little man, I'll show you why you don't scare your old man like that!"
Jumping off the couch and lifting the child off his feet, Mike started seemingly tickling him to near death.
"Haaahahahahahiii, nononono, dad stahp it! I'm…...gonna die!!
Meanwhile, Julia was still on the couch smiling at the father and son pair, thinking to herself
'Boys really never change, I guess I love them both for it…'
After calming down a bit, Mike finally remembered his son had called them when he came into the room a few minutes prior.
"Jj, did you need something? Why'd you call us, I swear if you tell me it was just for a jumpscare you'll be begging me for a tickle after I'm done with you boy."
To which Jaune audibly gulped, "Whaa, I wouldn't dare, nuh uh, no sir. I'm just really bored all the time when I'm not at school, and I don't feel like playing at the playground with the others."
Julia visibly perked up, "Did you want something? I'm sure we could organize an extracurricular activity for you, you always enjoy swimming in the summer, how about that?"
"Well, I kind of already had something in mind. I want to learn how to fight, like tai kuon, eh…"
Mike quickly understood and corrected his fumbling son, "You mean taekwondo, if martial arts classes are what you want, then I'm sure we can easily arrange that."
"Excuse me?"
Both looked over to the woman of the household who was really rocking a look of disbelief.
"I will not have my baby going around fighting against grown men just to "pass the time". Absolutely not, it's non-negotiable."
"But mooooom~..." Jaune was about to continue but was interrupted by his father putting his hand up to stop him. Seeing his son stop, Mike took over.
"Honey, you know the classes are separated in age brackets. There'd be no fighting grown men, and martial arts even have a reputation of helping children become disciplined you know? God knows he has too much energy and not enough places to spend it."
"But he's jus…" Julia looked really serious in this one, but Mike intercepted once again.
"Just a child? Yes, and while you are right, he'd be a child just like all the others in his class if we set him up for the course. Come on, you know this would do him some good, it's been a while since he was this passionate about something. He could make friends too y'know."
At this point, Julia was starting to see the pros in allowing her son to partake in martial arts, more opportunities to make friends was always welcomed, especially if it was outside their cozy gated community. And though Julia had a peace loving nature, this could be a turning point in her little boy's life.
Seeing her struggle to come to a decision, Jaune took the suspenseful silence to slide two words that would finally push his mother over the edge.
"Please mommy?" 'Deploy puppy dog eyes, my most effective weapon.'
Completely heartstruck, Julia couldn't' stand it anymore.
"Fine…"
"YES!!! Yes yes yes, thankyou thankyou thankyou!!" Jaune jumped in joy, this was going to be awesome.
"But I have to meet your teacher first. No ifs, ands or buts. And I have to be there for the first few classes, and you need to memorize our cell phones in case an emergency happens, okay? Do you hear me?"
"Haha, my little man's gonna be a warrior."
"YEAH!"-
This is just a short prologue, I'm sure many of you can tell, but I'm trying to get past this rather quickly while still having plot and reasonsing behind it. I don't wanna have a prologue just for the sake of having one, y'know what I mean.
