"Are you able to contact someone outside?"

The big guy of the two asked, feeling gloomy, looking at the barrier that covered the whole city.

"No, the barrier is blocking the signal, and the runic transmitter cannot send a signal outside." The other one said that feeling that matter is really big.

They were ready to move, but suddenly, an energy beam came from behind, surprising them.

The energy continued to destroy dozens of nearby buildings before it stopped, creating a mess in the entire area.
