"We've lost visual of about a 4-meter radius around the Terror Ten," Bronte son of Brontes reported. 

"What? How in Tartarus did that happen?" Agatha snapped. 

"They've saturated their surroundings with arcane energy that's hostile to our system… it's almost like they're jamming us…" McCloud explained. "Bront, see if we can move the Evil Eye closer that we might penetrate the energy's sphere of influence…" 

Leo felt a swell of pride fill his chest as he watched his team managed the situation all on their own. Not too long ago, they would have come to him for every little thing without bothering to think of solutions themselves. Now, they were problem solvers who didn't even need his input anymore. Well, most of the time. 

However, seeing as their strategy to penetrate the enemy's arcane bubble resulted in the Evil Eye's eyeball exploding from the inside out, it seemed he wasn't as irrelevant as he'd like to have been.
