Chapitre 142: The battle is getting serious!

I jumped as the beast flew straight at me with greater speed than before, barely missing me.

BOOM!

The ground erupted, sending dust swirling around the creature. My mind buzzed as I sensed its launch, and I instinctively slashed downward with all my strength, still in mid-air.

The beast out from the cloud of dust, a red blur in my eyes.

The tips of my sword met the beast's head in a fierce collision.

My whole body was jerked up, making me go higher. 

The impact jolted my entire body upward, propelling me higher into the air.

The beast let out a screech of pain and zipped away. My eyes were locked on it as I landed and I could finally see the beast, as it flapped around atop the cottage.
