Chapitre 82: Coming to the Monthly event a week early!

"So, where did you go?" Ken asked as he sprinted through the forest.

"I'm not telling~!" Eleis playfully replied, following right behind Ken, who gave her a side-eye.

"Fine," Ken didn't pursue the topic further, sensing that he would soon find out. He sped up, rushing through the forest and avoiding all obstacles. Eleis followed closely, mimicking Ken's every step with precision.

She shadowed him perfectly, even better than Aisa had done with her. Ken glanced back and increased his pace. He suddenly turned around, and Eleis widened her eyes, trying to stop, but her momentum was too great.

Ken leaped back, reaching out and enclosing his arms around Eleis, who shrunk her body and closed her eyes. Ken rammed into a tree, uprooting it. He balanced himself and casually leaped to the side with Eleis in his arms.

"Never follow someone's shadow without being able to stop at any given moment," Ken instructed, patting Eleis's back.
