Chapitre 22: THE DEVIL

~~NARRATOR'S POV ~~

Everywhere was pitch black and only the breathing of someone could be heard but Bella couldn't seem to figure out where she was and who was there beside her, she sat up and flames suddenly lit up giving brightness to the entire room

" you're finally awake little girl " she heard a funny voice but couldn't find anyone there ..when suddenly she remembered she was shot in the chest, she made a thorough check on her chest but couldn't find any trace of blood speak more of a wound

' am I in hell ' she taught to herself

" Are you the devil " she spoke up making the creature shivering

" shh am not the devil "

" then who are you "

" the keeper of the soul," it said revealing itself.

Bella wanted to laugh at the puffy cat right in front of her but seeing its eyes made her wonder why such a cat could be so powerful.

" soul keeper...aren't I supposed to be in hell right now ? " she questioned

' even the devil is scared that you'll cause havoc in hell so he decided to send you back. I wonder why he's scared of a mortal like you..you can't possibly kill him but you've surely created havoc on earth ' the creature taught to itself shaking its head vigorously

" hey am talking to you," Bella said calling it to its senses

" well the devil said you haven't completed your mission on earth and hell is already full of the people you killed " it lied

" Did he say that or you're trying to cover up for him? I know he's scared that I'll find a way to end him " Bella scoffed

' How can this mortal be so courageous and fearless ' it thought to itself.

the aura Bella was currently emitting made him scared

' no wonder the devil didn't want her in hell ' he sighed

" so what am I doing here Mr soul collector..does it mean am going to heaven or back to take revenge? "

" Back to take revenge ... also you only have forty seconds left "

" for? "

" for your soul not to be extinguished...you see if a soul doesn't get salvation or punished it is then extinguished making it impossible for the soul to be reborn or come back to life

so goodbye mortal hoping to see you one day " it said with a smile and things suddenly began to get blurry for Bella.

" Little mortal I hope you get what you deserve..I'll always be behind you," the creature said transforming to its demonic form and taking a sit on its throne as things are about to get spiced up.

~~ LEON'S POV ~~

" Leon you've been in your room for the past three days. I understand if you don't want to come out but at least come and pay your last respect to Bella her burial is going to be conducted today " Matt said and I could hear his footsteps as he left

although it was been three days ever since the death of Bella I still refuse to believe that's she's dead, after staying locked in this room for three days things are starting to sink in. I even refused them to perform her last rights hoping that a miracle would happen but seems even God wants to punish me for all my Killings

I got out of bed showered to get rid of the stink of alcohol then got dressed

I arrived at the cemetery but there is no way am going close to where Bella was going to be buried although she hasn't been buried I still couldn't bring myself to believe I would never be seeing the love of my life anymore.

There was suddenly roaring thunder although it wasn't raining and the sun all prideful in the sky the thunder was still re-vibrating

" man I know it's not easy but please take it easy ". Matt said tapping my shoulder but I couldn't care about what he said.. when suddenly

" Leon " I heard Bella's voice but it was faint I looked around but there was she was nowhere to be found

" Ma... Matt, did you hear that? "

" hear what? "

" Bella is calling, " I said but he just sighed

" look am not joking am sure I heard Bella's voice and ... " I couldn't complete my statement as the sky suddenly turned dark with pondering rain..the screaming of people could be heard and I look at Matt hoping to get a reason for all this uproar but he looked confused as well.

I decided to see for myself and made my way towards the direction people were running from and got the biggest shock and gift of my entire life.

Bella's coffin was open and she was sitting upright panting for air, she looked up at me, and immediately after we made eye contact she passed out. I immediately made my way toward her, carried her out, and made my way to the car

" MATT GET THE CAR WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL !!! " I screamed running towards the car like a madman
