"What exactly is your goal?"
Ming Xia asked as I was little confused by her question.
"And what do you mean by that, elder sister?" i inquired.
"Oh! Please, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.. I'm tired of your little tricks and charades."
Ming Xia commented angrily as I frowned slightly.
"You think I don't know your plan? You are planning something against brother in-law I'm sure of it but I still don't get why you trying to win his attention."
"You follow him around like a pet and act all innocent.. what exactly is your deal?"
She shouted her love loud enough to cause the birds on the tree to fly away.
I had to say that I was taken aback by her actions but since she wanted an answer, I would give her one.
"I don't have any goal at least not what you may be thinking. I simply want to treat brother in-law in a good way, how is that bad? Huh!?"
I asked as my guys stared deep into her.
Her eyes were completely different, her demeanor and actions were not alike that of the female lead.
It was as though she was turning into something or should I say someone else.
Could she have possibly? No! It can't be , right?
"You claim that I have evil intentions again brother in-law when it is you who have hurt brother in-law without any possible reason," I shouted back.
"What are you talking about?" She asked as I saw her eyes weaver slightly.
"The well incident," I begun, "You wee the one behind it weren't you? You instructed a servant to push the third prince and brother in-law into the well, am I right?"
I questioned, my voice sharp and clear. I wasn't thinking of letting her know that I was aware of her crime but since she was so lenient on annoying me, I would annoy her just the same way.
Meanwhile, upon hearing my words, I saw her shake slightly in surprise.
She never thought that I would be aware of what she had done but I can't help myself. After all, the wall do have ears as they said.
Regaining herself, Ming Xia muttered, "Nonsense! How dare you accuse me of such rubbish... You have no proof!"
She said the most obvious but her words weren't quote true, "I don't have any proof but the fact that I know is more than enough.. or have you seem to have forgotten who I am?"
"I am Ming Mei, the third missy of this household.. if I were to tell grandmother and everyone about this, what makes you think they won't believe me."
"Even though it were a lie, grandma and my mom are probably looking for a scrape goat to take the blame for what happened and you could be that person, with or without any proof!"
"MING MEI!" She shouted, anger obviously visible on her eyes.
I had to say that I had a gift for making people angry.
"Yes, grandmother and aunt Hui Li may believe your words but do you know who won't believe you? Brother in-law because he knows what type of person who are, he knows that I'll never hurt him and only you! Only you Ming Mei would ever do such a thing to him and you know that very well."
She stated as I felt her words hit my in a way I Didn't expect.
Even though I knew that Jin Ling didn't hate me as much as he did back then, he still can't fully trust me.
And for the fact that I just suddenly changed overnight, he must also think that I had an agenda so believing Ming Xia could be possible.
"I have a question Ming Xia, why did you do it? What exactly is your reason for hurting brother in-law. He has never treated you badly but yet you tried so frame him.. why? What exactly is your goal?"
I asked the question that has been lingering in my mind since I found out she was the mastermind of it all.
The male lead didn't hate her and she couldn't possibly hate him so why did she do that.
"Tell me why?" I asked again as she snapped.
"Why? You're asking me why? Ha! Isn't it obvious that it's because of you Ming Mei.. you alone are the reason I did all these, you!"
"Me?" I said taken aback. "How the hell am I the reason?"
"That's none of your business," she refused to tell me why so I had no other choice but to force the truth out of her.
"Is that so? Then I guess brother in-law won't mind knowing who the culprit is for his situation and I won't mind telling him either," I said as I turned around pretending to leave.
But what happened yet was something I didn't expect. Guess I didn't force the truth out of her but something else.
