“What?” Tristan and I said in unison.
To say I was shocked was the least of my worries. How crude was Leonardo to pin the issue on Tristan? It was now clear that the little boy I thought Leonardo was, is no more.
“Who is poisoned?” I yelled.
“Brother, after you left the training ground, I went back to test the blood that you vomited. And the result is that someone has been mixing the blood you feed with poisonous shifter blood,” Leonardo announced confidently.
Tristan’s eyes widened and I signaled him with my hand to keep his mouth shut.
“You confirmed with the coven doctor that I am poisoned?” My voice sounded surprised, but the surprise was the fact that my dear brother went back to the training ground and took samples of my blood. I needed to be more careful from now on.
“Yes, brother. And I deduce that the reason you were dizzy is that the poison has spread and it’s not good news,” he pressed on.
