“It’s good to see you again.”

“The pleasure is all mine, son.” Arthur then eyed Winthrop. “Winthrop, on the other hand, I could do without. Every time he comes to see me, there’s some legal mess that takes weeks to figure out. I shouldn’t complain though. He’s been a loyal client.”

Winthrop chuckled at this comment, and he and RJ followed Arthur to his office. A young female assistant stood there, holding the door and when all three men had entered, she closed it, leaving them alone.

“So we’re here to start the paperwork to end the testamentary trust, are we?”

“Well, I wanted the trust to go from the control of my dad to me, per the terms of my grandfather. I was hoping to create a living trust, or something like that. To transfer the monies into another trust.”

“That’s interesting and probably a smart decision. It may be better to do that for tax purposes.”

“I also want the trust to show my beneficiary as Padrick McLaughlin. It’ll be Padrick Davis on July seven.”
